I've been playing along reading the translations for a cutsceens, and pausing it when a battle happens. I chose playable Arle and AI Schezo (because I ship it). and I didn't know everyone's partner AI was different.
The final battle seems a bit disappointing. I was hoping for a 1v1 Puyo Battle against the non-playable character. Just like Champion Gary from Pokémon Puzzle League, Corrupted Shinnok from Mortal Kombat X, Death Egg from Team Sonic Racing, etc. If the final battle is against Dark Prince & Ecolo all-in-one, then the name should be either Shadow Prince or Dark Shadow.
I love how Ecolo is like "Can't grant everyone eternal happiness? Well I guess the only other logical option is to nuke the world then."
