Not gonna lie, when Scotty started walking I teared up a bit. Dude is a certified legend. There's not many people who would be hurt like that and within just what 4 months be up walking even with a walker. I broke my neck in 2009 and had to learn to walk again. That was one of the toughest challenges I've ever faced in life, and it took me 9 months to learn to correctly walk again after being laid up in a hospital bed for 6 months. Keep up the amazing job Scotty, you are a inspiration to people around the world who have heard your story and reached out in support. We as your fans love you and can't wait to see you back on the bike in no time! #Standwithscotty

he has lost alot of weight from muscle loss. He is still eating what he would normally eat but he isnt getting the exercise he would normally get therefore losing muscle. He doesn't want to gain weight in fat so eating more probably inst a option he will take. He will hope to get better than gain muscle and then he will be like he was before

Once I woke up late for school and somehow slept on both of my arms, so they were both completely numb and weak, starting just under the shoulders. I hade to prepare my lunch and dress up with my hands almost completely limp and in a hurry. It's terrible

Scotty. I ran across your videos by accident not long before your crash! I was searching some BMX stuff and your videos kept popping up. I kept watching them. This whole thing is very inspiring to tell you the truth. Not many people on this earth ever find what their true purpose is in life. Some people miss it all together and it flys right by. I watched this movie a long time ago called " The Peaceful Warrior". It was right after my first ACL surgery. I had pretty much given up on doing cool shit because of it. After that movie I felt the need to not give up on what I love. There is a quote from Dan Millman " A warrior does not give up what he loves, he finds the love in what he does" ! You are truly a Warrior and very inspiring. I will continue watching your videos and I am looking forward to the one where you ride your bike again for the first time. Not doing any crazy whips or flairs...... just simply getting on your bike and riding it! You purpose in life seems to be riding that bike and giving hope and inspiration to others. Bulldogs, have a condition where their skull forms in a situation where it's quite hard to breathe. I think I read that whenever you take a full breathe it would take a bulldog to take 4 small breathe to make up for the full breathe you made. Also it seems he is quite warm he breathe fast to cool down. I infact have a Bulldog too.

My dog has had cataract for like half a year and the poor girl can't get the surgery until it fully develops in both eyes and its expensive af. Can I get sum likes for her? And Hbd Scotty!!! 😊😊

yes and no. your brain still has those connections burnt in on how to move your bike around. i quit skateboarding like 15 years ago and started again. i relearned everything very fast.
Nicholas Tiemstra no, he is learning how to control husband muscles. that's it, once he has full control of his muscles like before the crash, then it's back to him old self. so no he doesn't have to relearn everything. he will be very sketchy and not his full potential till probably 6 months to a year after he gets on his bike
Nicholas Tiemstra I don't think it's that he necessarily "forgot" as more so of his body not allowing him to do what he wants. he still knows how to do the tricks but it's all muscle memory
5 years ago I had a C3 C4 incident I need to learn to walk and move again.. brother you are the most positive person I've ever seen.. my 13 year old son showed me these videos my heart is with you everyday.....you'll make it through this...... Scotty. I ran across your videos by accident not long before your crash! I was searching some BMX stuff and your videos kept popping up. I kept watching them. This whole thing is very inspiring to tell you the truth. Not many people on this earth ever find what their true purpose is in life. Some people miss it all together and it flys right by. I watched this movie a long time ago called " The Peaceful Warrior". It was right after my first ACL surgery. I had pretty much given up on doing cool shit because of it. After that movie I felt the need to not give up on what I love. There is a quote from Dan Millman " A warrior does not give up what he loves, he finds the love in what he does" ! You are truly a Warrior and very inspiring. I will continue watching your videos and I am looking forward to the one where you ride your bike again for the first time. Not doing any crazy whips or flairs...... just simply getting on your bike and riding it! You purpose in life seems to be riding that bike and giving hope and inspiration to others. The positivity, and challenge that your videos have are awesome. Now you are faced with your biggest challenge to date and I have no doubt that you will rise to the occasion ! What a great group of friends and family you have as well! Especially Big Boy for keeping the channel rollin! Keep em coming and we will keep watching! Thank you for all the inspiration. Bulldogs, have a condition where their skull forms in a situation where it's quite hard to breathe. I think I read that whenever you take a full breathe it would take a bulldog to take 4 small breathe to make up for the full breathe you made. Also it seems he is quite warm he breathe fast to cool down. I infact have a Bulldog too.

My dog has had cataract for like half a year and the poor girl can't get the surgery until it fully develops in both eyes and its expensive af. Can I get sum likes for her? And Hbd Scotty!!! 😊😊

yes and no. your brain still has those connections burnt in on how to move your bike around. i quit skateboarding like 15 years ago and started again. i relearned everything very fast.
Nicholas Tiemstra no, he is learning how to control husband muscles. that's it, once he has full control of his muscles like before the crash, then it's back to him old self. so no he doesn't have to relearn everything. he will be very sketchy and not his full potential till probably 6 months to a year after he gets on his bike

Nicholas Tiemstra I don't think it's that he necessarily "forgot" as more so of his body not allowing him to do what he wants. he still knows how to do the tricks but it's all muscle memory

5 years ago I had a C3 C4 incident I need to learn to walk and move again.. brother you are the most positive person I've ever seen.. my 13 year old son showed me these videos my heart is with you everyday.....you'll make it through this...... God bless you brother.... life is good, I don't need to tell you to keep going but I can guarantee you I will always be thinking of you...God is watching over both of us be good be great... it will.only get better👍👍👍 this year the kids willl get a new pump track...5 years ago our practice motocross track was back into a cornfield... Trust Me it will only get better
