This all was very good but I feel like the position of the separatist alliance was severely underestimated at the end of the war. Let's consider that just a few months prior they launched a massive attack on Coruscant, like you know, the capital. Also there were hundreds of active foundries across the galaxy if not thousands at the end of the war. If they weren't held back by Palpatine I imagine they would quickly overwhelm the Republic / Empire. Also there wouldn't be a rebel alliance, it would just be a continuation of the galactic civil war, & likely end in the reformation of the republic after the fall of Palpatine. At least that's what I believe would happen.
Yes, i agree with you here. Do you remember in the Rebels animated series, that episode where the crew stumbles upon an old CIS base the Empire had not reclaimed yet? Our heroes play out a "final battle" for the satisfaction of the droid commander. While our heroes eventually win, Ezra wisely points out the insight he had come to understand, that neither Republic nor confederacy were ever intended to win! Droid, clone, humanoid and all allies on both sides, they were being manipulated by forces unseen! And wow! Isn't it that way in real life too? We know so little of if our friends are really our friends -but we at least care about that detail. Something we don't want to look at nearly as close, is if the people we see as our enemies, are really our enemies through the facts of their actions. The character of Ezra Bridger made a huge leap in Wisdom when he realized that, in my opinion. And while yes, i am very drunk, i hope i am not coming off as a condescending prick. I am a new fan to Star Wars, and there is just so much unfolding to me so fast i am going to be a naive noob! Love to you! :)
Because they didn’t have control over the droids. The separatists did and ultimately, sidious. Once they died, so did the control over the droids as palpatine didn’t want them. So the rebels wouldn’t have been able to use them.

I mean I think some of would have loved to hear a major battle including Rebel Providences, Mon Cals, and other Separatist/Rebel ships against Star Destroyers. Could you do an extended version of this? Imagine a Providence, MC80(various types), Munificient, Recusant, Lucrehulk, Dauntless, various Star Fighters, etc. all fighting against the Empire?

I always wondered this, I get that the separatist council were dead and that the droids were shut down, why didn’t the rebels just reactivate them?
Because they didn’t have control over the droids. The separatists did and ultimately, sidious. Once they died, so did the control over the droids as palpatine didn’t want them. So the rebels wouldn’t have been able to use them.
