But we do not think so, because if the owner loves his #puppy, then a wonderful, kind, devoted friend will grow out of him. In this collection we have collected just kind and cute Dobermans. Beautiful dogs, I love doberman. I want one for my next service dog, but the clip of the child jumping all over the doberman terrified me. A child should never be allowed to jump all over any dog, dogs are not jungle gyms they are living creatures. That dog is extremely tolerable, but he/she was turning their head to disengage from the child because it had had enough. People need to teach their children to respect animals and not jump all over them and bounce on them, that can seriously hurt a dog

I was terrified as well. I understand that that person knows their dog very well and trusts them, but that’s not something you should allow, you never know. And then the dog gets brought to the shelter, or worse, because their human is careless.
I think most people never experienced first hand what dogs can do. I love dogs but I know how scary they can be.

My Doberman would excessively bite, lick and chew due to allergies. But, I agree with the other comment about anxiety and stress the one Doberman displayed by licking and biting his side. Dobies are very sensitive and have very human like emotions. The behavior is not normal. I would often compare my Achilles to a six year old kid.

I have a 4 yr old doberman, and he's the best thing ever happened to me. They are the most loving, caring, intelligent breed I've ever known. They demand a lot, but they give so much more. Pure love. ❤️ And they can be very goofy and extremely funny 😆
Just lost my boy kilo to cancer yesterday , everything happened within a week , if you ever get a Doberman just know they’re the best, nothing like a dog that will protect you and at the same time be so silly and loving , my boy gonna be missed!

I love Dobermans but this ear cropping cruelty is a huge no-no
It is called docking. It is necessary especially for working dogs because it prevents future injuries that would be much worse. It may seem cruel but it really is not. It is necessary. I can see why it may seem that way though, so in the end it is up to the owner.
@@jasmineelaine8713 ear cropping, tail docking, yes. I am on my fourth and fifth Doberman now and interviewed vets on this subject. Fact is there is no single medical need to do so. Not even for ‚working‘ dogs. There are lots of working breeds like all hounds, Rottweiler, … with long or floppy ears… no one thinks of cropping their ears. No, it’s all about the look with Dobermans. Sadly.
@@poughkeepsie8516 it's not only for looks, many Dobermans get docked from injuries, many do, working dogs absolutely need to be docked or cropped. We don't crop hound ears because it's not breed standard, that's it.
Cropping is not cruel for dobermans it's literally a breed standard.

My mom told me of a true story of a lady who came home from work to find her doberman choking. She takes and leaves the dog at the vet and returns home only to get a phone call from same vet telling her to get out of the house cuz the dog had a fi ger in its throat! Cops came and found a guy in her closet in shock with a missing finger!
When dobermans drool excessively it might be because a allergic reaction to beef products. Some skin issues could also be attributed to beef allergies like thinning fur and excessive odder, lumps, bumps. Most dogs are allergic to beef. It's difficult to understand but in the wild dog/wolf's coyote mostly eat animals that are much smaller. I've learned this through experience and 10+ years of making my dobermans food and working with my veterinarian to hone in on what works.
Alot of dogs have a drool when waiting for the que to eat. There was an experiment where they rang a bell once to signal meal time then rang it a second time for the release. After this training was done they would ring the bell and a majority of the dogs would drool even without the food being present.

The dog is holding a “stay” command before getting fed; he’s drooling in anticipation of the meal. My dobe is doing that right now because he’s starving and famished and I haven’t fed him since breakfast
If they’re allergic it’s the f vaccines they did studies on it bc they contain animal cells including beef or chicken can’t remember. Vets are just clueless killers

Im a otr truck driver. My Doberman " Bubba" is with me 24/7. I couldn't ask for a better co pilot. He's almost 7 months old. He's loving, entertaining and extremely smart. Couldn't ask for a better dog.

They are all of them being told to wait before they can eat. It's a basic obedience that they need to learn, but wait too long and you got a big pool going,!!!
I got 2 Dobermans from the same litter and they are brother and sister. We kept their ears natural. They are two of the cutest and sweetest dogs ever, if they aren't playing then they are wanting to snuggle

0:31 is NOT a doberman. I wish people would realize what a doberman is and its NOT a miniature dobermand thats what is called Miniature pincher and this is not one of those either. There is no such breed as a miniature doberman! :D I have a european 9 month old right now myself.

We have 5 and the Dobie pup.
First time with this breed. Definitely not for all people. Very needy . He is still in training so hell do better as he gets older. But all dogs are great. Dobies do have a funny side. Huskies are my favorite and we have One, Junior.

I once gave my Doberman his bowl of food and he obediently waited for me to let him eat. I had to pop upstairs & started doing something else and when I came back down he was still sitting there waiting for me to tell him to eat. I felt really guilty!! We don't allow any dogs in the UK to have their ears cut in half and it is now illegal to have their tails cropped. They are so intelligent. Many years ago rent collectors used to take them round to make sure tenants paid their rent😁. My Max never dribbled, once to get attention he pinched my husbands cigarette papers and sat at the top of the stairs and took each one out of the wrapper, not torn and completely dry!!! I still miss him he was 13 when he died in 1995.
I need to watch more of these Doberman videos. I got bit in the butt by a gas station guard dog when I was 7 when walking home from school. The dog got loose. I’ve had a fear of this breed ever since. logically I know not all Dobermans are like that, but still leaves an impact at 7.
We adopt our Dobermans from MN Doberman Rescue. Our last girl was named The Grimace, she was 6 years old when we adopted her...she lived to 14. Now we have Penny Lane, our 2 year old red Doberman. She's awesome! Best breed ever! Definitely not for everyone tho.

A beautiful, majestic and amazing breed.
Just a real shame the majority of Dobermanns in this video have been subjected to the painful, barbaric and inhumane practice of ear cropping. Dobermanns should be left as natural beauties and not have their ears disfigured simply for cosmetic preferences.
Has the Dobie been x-rayed to look for hip or spinal problems? Maybe he/she is massaging the hip area because of pain.

My mom had a warlock he was the most friendly dog, he changed my mind about dobermans.
those small lumps you see on the red doberman female are called lipomas they are often seen on dobermans. they are usually begnign but I had one that grew quite large on one of my girls. she was 13 so vet said best just to leave it be than put her through the surgery since it was benign

No, it's totally endearing! They are always reading every emotion to respond in love. It's like when you look into someone's eyes that you love so much! It is intimidating when they're watching a first time visitor though but that's their job!!!
