This is a nostalgia trip. I had all of these once upon a time, foolishly sold them, thought zap would render them obsolete, was proven wrong and I’ve been gradually rebuilding my legacy zord collection to accompany my lightning collection as mini display shelves. The 2010 megazord was a cheap nasty abomination that opened the door to a mostly enjoyable megazord collection. Breaks my heart that Hasbro dropped the ball so hard.
I'm 36, and the years this stuff was sold, I definitely did not have any disposable income lol. The recession destroyed my career prospects. But now thankfully I'm at a point I can throw some money towards some lightning collection items. I just wish they all were of quality, gilded etc like the Legacy products..
No lies but I'm really trying to search for a Legacy Titanus. Haven't found one sadly with the original packaging hoping fund someone who'll be selling I'd buy on the spot immediately
Fun fact: In the Kyoryuger vs Go-Busters movie, the Zyuranger prop morpher was, in fact, the Legacy Power Morpher with some new labels to hide the Power Ranger text The Leagcy Power Morpher is so good that it was even used in Sentai
I'm an American high school student who loves power rangers, but I love theatre too, so I'm using your videos to learn to do a British accent, because my schools play this year is the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime and I REALLY want the role of Christopher (the main character) and he's autistic, I'm autistic, so I feel like I HAVE to play this role, it takes place in Britain so I gotta learn the accent, I'll come back and update when the cast list comes back
YES SIR! I remember hunting for ALL of these back then😎😎. Every other Thursday I went to TRU. Never did no barcode or upc lookups or nothing. I just got in my car and HOPED my TRU had the shit in stock, lol if not i checked next thursday. Man time has really flown by. The hardest thing for me to find was the First Legacy Morpher. I remember my TRU was Always sold out of them. It use to make me mad! I remember I called TRU to see when they were gonna get some in and they told me, but I had to go to Philly that week, so I was mad!! So I ended up ordering my first one online. Then I started seeing them in stores but I had already had one by then. But then there was some running changes made with them. The light effects and paint apps and even the diecast plates were different So I found myself getting another one which I got from Walmart actually, when they started selling them like a couple years after the TRU initial release. I found Tommy morpher easy and ended up buying another one later when they were shelf warming at my TRU. The 5"in figures I found easy as well as All the Red Rangers and sixth rangers. DragonZord was an eazy find. Still a great toy!! Titanus was an eazy find but hard to justify buying it at $200! But I did anyway. Lol I ordered the Dragon Dagger, but I did see it in stores. STILL my favorite!! I got the blade blaster, Saba, Red Ranger Helmet, and Green ranger helmet, Gold power staff, the 5" Movie rangers, Falconzord, The power coins releases, the mini mmpr Helmets display, Thunder Megazord, Man I had just about all of them!! MAAN I LOVED going to TRU during these times!! Between Legacy Collection stuff and starting my Marvel Legends collection, TRU STAYED having my Money!! Lmao!!😂😂😂 Im just glad I was eazily able to find most of the Legacy Collection stuff!! My TRU was a GOOD ONE!!!! I was ALWAYS able to find the TRU Exclusives and Legacy Collection stuff!! Just walked in and BOOM there they were!! Hunt ended just as quickly as it started!! I miss it sooo much!!
The line was a real game changer a real out of Japan type feel. Huge huge issue only very few releases over a long span I nvr had the old toy dragon dagger so i got the legacy version right away from amazon the box is banged up alittle oh well! I have most the og toys so i didn't bother with the rest of the legacy items I rely don understand my own mentality tbh...
Uff no se porque esa linea de artículos (juguetes) coleccionables de power rangers migthy morphin son tan caros y difíciles de conseguir es literal, los precios en Amazon dan miedo yo solo quiero el morpher y es de lo mas caro una lástima 😢
i love the concept of making legacy zords but they really shouldnt have had zord builder. For the standard toyline it makes sense given they were meant to be cheaper and kids but for a legacy item meant for collectors, it really shouldnt have zord builder ports as that is not show accurate. it made the megatigerzord combo look ugly as hell plus the dino megazord looking just kind of eh. like legacy thunder megazord, dragonzord and ninja megazord looked great because they didnt rely on those stupid zord builder ports.
I like the lightning collection. But in my opinion the legacy megazord and dragonzord are far superior to the zap versions....they were affordable too I paid £100 for both...where as the zaps are £100+ !! !!!!
2013 - 2017 was a great time for power rangers fans. I feel like it all peaked around the time they released legacy thunder megazord and nose dived after the movie came out
Same here, I even enjoyed Super Megaforce, because as much of a letdown compared to Gokaiger as it was, it gave the kids a taste of all the old Rangers.

correction: Zyuranger did make a dragon buckler in 92. it is just difficult to find. It even came with all 6 coins.

I’m 99% sure that ZyuRanger did actually get a release of the gold DragonRanger Dino Buckler.
It did.
It really did. The original DX Dragon Buckler had all six Shugouzyuu Medals, too, instead of just Dragon Caesar.
I remember seeing all of these at toy r us for cheap lol 😂 should of grabbed them all back then
The Legacy morpher was also used by Geki from Zyuranger during the Go-Busters Kyoryuger crossover
WOW! That's so surreal to think about.
this video reminded me i got a legacy morpher collecting scratches in a pile of toys be right back
Save it!
Love seeing the Legacy stuff laid out and dived into like this, what a trip. Pouring one out for you TRU UK
I'm very appreciative that both Legacy Power Morphers, the Dragon Dagger, & Saba were all reissued as GameStop exclusives throughout 2017-18.
This is such an interesting retrosepctive!
Legacy Titanus was super hard to find but if anyone was lucky to get one lucky them.
This is the exact video I needed to make the jump into collecting
No lies but I'm really trying to search for a Legacy Titanus. Haven't found one sadly with the original packaging hoping fund someone who'll be selling I'd buy on the spot immediately
I think I know someone who has one. How much are you looking to spend
@@Mightymorphinninjaturtles depends on the condition and whether comes with original package
There’s actually one on eBay right now. Looks pretty decent condition
@@Mightymorphinninjaturtles if they have an Instagram I'm willing to perhaps discuss.

I love both the 2010 and legacy megazords!
I love the old school Zords and stuff
I've found and bough different zord in different stores, Megazord from Toys R Us, Dragonzord from K-Mart, Titanus from KB toy store.
Did you forget about the 1992 original Dragon Buckler the holy grale of power rangers collecting !!!
I'm an American high school student who loves power rangers, but I love theatre too, so I'm using your videos to learn to do a British accent, because my schools play this year is the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime and I REALLY want the role of Christopher (the main character) and he's autistic, I'm autistic, so I feel like I HAVE to play this role, it takes place in Britain so I gotta learn the accent, I'll come back and update when the cast list comes back
I didn't know that Titanus was 200 msrp...the aftermarket prices are making a lot more sense to me know.
can you do an update of your entire collection, would love to see it all
Zyuranger did in fact do the dragon buckler for dragon ranger
It’s pretty rare tho
ToysRUs had piles of legacy product and I to this day regret not grabbing more

Same
And then, also by Billy in the Power Rangers cosmic fury series.
The MMPR reversion made the mistake of not releasing the dragonzord
The line was a real game changer a real out of Japan type feel. Huge huge issue only very few releases over a long span

Also the dragon dagger is really a short sword my life is a lie!
Great vid mate
The legacy morpher is so much better. Also cool seeing a Legacy retrospective.
Yeah the LC should have been in the basic toy line
i like the look of the legacy morpher but prefer the sounds the lightning collection morpher more
Praise shortly
Uff no se porque esa linea de artículos (juguetes) coleccionables de power rangers migthy morphin son tan caros y difíciles de conseguir es literal, los precios en Amazon dan miedo yo solo quiero el morpher y es de lo mas caro una lástima 😢
Do king ohger
Bit of a reach there bud.
Did I miss Saba?

Both bandai and saban made a big gamble into that movie. Too bad it would be their downfall.
Mid 20s haha more like late 30s
I'm 28 and grew up on the original mmpr so no just late 30s homie
Why do you always make your videos super long? Don’t you make them like kind of short and up a bit
What short video topics would you like to see?
Call me a heathen but im getting tired of MMPR. I want more In Space stuff.
