V-BELT and SON yeah I had to make a few mods to beef it up and make more durable but she’s a fine rig now!

    Oh crap trailer issue already??
Wish I could get carbides for the Cimaf. Apparently they don’t even make them :/ so I’m slow motion when getting close to the ground hah

V-BELT and SON Yeah man stay tuned! Fixed now. More of a dealer assembly fault then an actual manufacturer fault I’d say. Yeah your right about the Cimaf. Atleast that’s what I was also told when I was looking at the mulchers I considered the Cimaf but only blade style and you can’t open and close doors right?

What happens if you stagger the teeth, 1 tooth carbide the next a knife? Would it give you a decent compromise between cut quality and durability?

I don’t think it would stay in balance

Good explanation I would never have known there to be a difference in performance only durability. What's a tooth cost?

Joshua Russell Hey Josh thanks for watching! In Canada the chipper style are $50-$60/tooth and the carbide are $80-$90/tooth. So for a set of chipper they are $1500-1700 and the mulcher teeth are $2400-$2700. Not cheap!

What mulcher would you recommend for my KX033-4? It's a cab unit with angle blade 8000lb

Sorry Tyson, The chipper teeth are $28.00 and carbides are $48.00. I just ordered a set from xterme wear parts and they shipped them all the way to South Carolina in 48 hours. Hope that helps you out and saves you some money. Let V-Belt know, they may have carbides for his machine. See you buddy..
