Most of my yoyos are organic. My last one is the Gnome Trooper and it's probably my favorite organic (shape and looks wise) a GnomeTrooper bimetal would be a holy grail for me, but I do have other shapes too and I understand what you mean. When I take out the next rotation (I have 3 yoyos on my desk at all times) I try to include at least one non organic shape and playing with them always makes things feel new. It's like... I realize why I got that non-O-oyoyo and also makes the O-yoyo feel fresh when I pick it.Only shapes I really don't enjoy/like that much are the ones with sharp angles. Like the Sengoku Shinobi.

I think yoyo’s are like chocolate bars. I have my favourites, but I like to try different ones. Each has their own sweetness, flavours, or ingredients. Variety is what makes me appreciate the uniqueness of each one. If I have the same chocolate bar all the time, it loses its appeal slightly… the same is true for yoyos. People always ask me why I have so many yoyos and I tell them (just like you said) it’s because they are fun and creative, and each one makes me a better player in its own way. Great little video today Nate, thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to you and yours. I look forward to more awesome content from you in 2024. Ⓜaryo🪀

This video could not be more true especially what you do said towards the end. I was starting to get very jaded playing the same old stuff over and over and have just now started to venture out into EVERY shape. Even gimmicky throws/shapes are sometimes really fun and it really helps keep that flame alive and reminds me why I love this stuff so much.

@natemartsolf idk if this is true or not...but I just got a yoyo from a guy locally and he said it came from you. I'm sure you probably couldn't remember after all these years....but I just thought it was cool!

Great video and I definitely agree. I have a good variety of yoyos from downright fun yoyos to performance, unique, undersized and micro yoyos. I love a good variety with all of my skill toys, like belgeri and knucklerollers. Things aren't fun if they're all the same! Now I've got my eye on both of these yoyos, the Soy for sure! You're definitely fulfilling your sponsor duties 😅
