I've noticed that ever since YCDT faced off against the Dolls, the Dolls have become more technically sound dancers, and they are willing to take bigger chances with their choreo! DD4L

YCDT SLAYYYYED!!!! YESSSSS! Squats low (and ALL on the same level), high energy (and full out EVERY time), cleanliness, and beautiful formations! They're so fun to watch, they have that "IT" factor! The facials alone give me life, and their captain is AMAZING! From their outfits to their hair; I can tell Traci cares about even the smallest of details! OMG they slay!

it may seem to appear that ycdt is the better team because there coach Traci is a PROFESSIONAL DANCER. She went to Alvin Ailey which is the most amazing dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Ms. Diana isn't a Professional but her teams still wins and is doing major things nobody complains when they win, but when they lose people get mad. @@ronalddesilva5667 well all of her girls are in the top of the dance world. we have their head co captain janea who is captain (graduating this year) at stigettes. misha is amazing still she is keeping up with her training and is an all around great dancer. and almost all of the girls on ycdt in this video are professionals now and highest and high in the majorette and dance world. by the way ycdt is still going strong, traci is being a great teacher

The battle as a whole was one of the BEST I've seen in a veeeeerrryyy long time! Tbh: The dolls really hasn't had any REAL competition until SS came along. Them showing up and being as good as they are actually shows how all of the other battle squads were never on DD level! I mean the truth hurts sometimes.
The SUPASTARS did their research throughly and they were consistently amazing the entire battle. Their choreography, FACIALS, transitions, formations, technique, costumes ALL spot on point! The DOLLS did what they do very well but their COSTUMING (uniforms) and over all look as I've said for a while was dry and tired! I will say the dolls legitimately got beat! The End😎🐝
dancing dolls and YCDT both killed this battle but the supastarz slayed it they were much cleaner. they deserve the win. but dd4l will be ready next time

I love DD but I feel like the dolls stands are getting longer but meaningless. They could easily have two effective stands instead of having one long drawn out stand that everyone's bored of by the time the stand is over. YCDT stands were a little shorter but way more effective, energetic and fun to watch. That day just wasn't the dolls day
I liked when DD did shorter stands, they always packed with a punch. I think what is happening now is some of the battles don't have a time limit. I think then DD battled DOB this year, that is when they started to get longer. I want them to go back to the shorter ones, they were way more powerful. I have faith in Coach D though.
All. Of. THIS! I completely agree. I take my little sis to some of their competitions. DD stands are like 5 min long. LIke they dance the entire song, and then Dianna has to count them out when the song is over.

Some of those girls take different dance classes somewhere else but I totally agree with what you are saying. Those three girls that came out in DD4L last stand do take classes for other dance lessons along with Crystianna, Makala, Makya, and Camryn !

ManMan Widda Plan I respect your opinion but the way DD does it, it gets the crowd hyped. The way they did it, it just looked like a comeback but with less spice to it. I also think they use too much props because almost every stand, either it was the girls with the posters or whatever, I always see them with something that is titled as a prop. Also on one of the posters it said “ not real dance”. If this isn’t a type of dance style, then why don’t you go to dance moms or some other technical show? Just my opinion

I almost cried when DD brought out the pointe dancers. They're arms were all over the place, they're legs weren't straight, and it just didn't look right. YCDT definitely slayed the DD. Just bc you're doing majorette, doesn't mean you throw away your technique. Whenever you go to an audition, they will ALWAYS ask you for ballet training bc ballet is the foundation of all dance, unless you're going to an ethnic style audition. Traci is right, Tamia and Kayla's technique is really not that great. #TeamYCDT

Yes the point choreography was terrible. Diana should stick o what she knows and is good at. Tracy has had more experience in the dance world. Diana should bring in more trained dancers on her staff, this would elevate and educate her dancers. All that bucking😏

Bruh 🙇 the Supastarz D E M O L I S H E D the Dolls I watched the whole battle. Like I fw the Dolls literally heavy, but that night wasn't their night at all. From the creative dance to the stand they didn't give 100% like I know and believed they could have. I'm very disappointed... in all the rounds the dolls were moving like they hadn't slept in three days. And every time YCDT threw something they didn't even have a response to even poke them except the last stand on this video. This means Mrs. D needs to come up with a whole new book of new stands completely.. not changing stands up and adding bits and pieces of old stands in new ones and not new stands in old ones. New never before seen stands. I understand YCDT don't compete every week and DD does and they only have a couple days to practice they need to do something because this whole episode hurt my heart to see them fail like that but still #DD4L ❤🔴⚪👑

I really liked the dancing dolls then when I was introduced with the supetstarz I fell in love
Them poor things looked exhausted and worn out, probably for that that routine they called a creativity performance. Lets talk about this excuse Dianna got yall using, many dance teams have little to no time to create new routines every week but they get it done. Ycdt has a football game every week, 2 huge productions that they were preparing around this time, rehearsals 7 days a week with more than 200 girls and not only do they have time to whoop the dolls asses every time lifetime call them to salvage the ratings, but 75% of them are on the honor society. So um save that bullshit for the birds Diana. Ycdt beat yall fair and square just take the loss and run with it use that as inspiration to come back.

They don't do workshop during the season because those girls have school they are doing it now because the dance season is on break, and no matter what yall say they are still not as busier and have way more time to come up with more routines then the dancing dolls do no doubt these girls performed every weekend and had school as well ycdt only perform against them they have all the time to come with all kinds of stuff not making excuses for the dolls but those are facts
shalonda johnson well if that is the case then not having enough time is a piss poor excuse. YCDT has schooling just like the dolls, were dancing at football games every, had YCDT company rehearsals and SupaStarz rehearsals. Not to mention these are "Supa" involved with school and even coach some of the younger girls apart of YCDT.
In short, YCDT is stretched thin as well and they get it done. The dolls are competing alot, yes. Every weekend? No quite. But at the end of the day...yall have beaten MANY teams with yall busy schedule. why do the excuses flow when you lose?
I'm not gone go back and forth about this cause this battle is old now they battled months ago and the cast is unbothered but the same girls on the Miami team that perform with they football team are the same girls that perform with ycdt so when they practice for their games I'm pretty sure they are practice the ycdt moves as well, but no matter how you flip it the time is more free the dolls and that's a fact, the dolls are the only team they battle and you keep throwing up the fact that they perform at football games but high school football season is only about 10 games so save that you making excuses for them as well, bottom line they have more time to come up with material and prepare for a show then the dolls imo I still think the dancing dolls is the best team until Traci go out and compete against other teams similar to her style and showcase that win that I'm not impress , they can dance they but off no doubt not taking that from them like some of yall ycdt fans do to the dolls

Their dance program at school (PAVAC) has its own curriculum in which they follow. Albeit Mrs. Young-Byron is the dance Teacher, her girls are only a small number. Those classes have OTHER students. She can't be rehearsing stands during class.
Football games are a huge deal and takes up ALOT of time. The have a new field show every week. They spend plenty of time during band practice with the band. And this particular battle was during the football season. They also were having a winter recital/program for PAVAC.
Now as far as battling other squads...you'd have to ask Mrs. Young-Byron. But she stated during the first battle that "in order to be the best, you have to beat the best" so she had her team travel to Mississippi to beat the best. Yall should be flattered that they are only battling yall. Shows you they think you're actual competition.
Lastly, they have battled DOB as u already know. And they beat them. It matters not who they battle. They come and show out. The Dolls are a good team. YCDT is just better. It is what it is.
Dancing Dolls always bring there all ,YCDT Superstarz are good and I love there energy but I will always be a DD4L fan
They're both great teams with different styles, it just depends on what you are into
At one point, the DDs energy level dropped and they looked slow and not so much in to it. On the other hand, YCDT's energy remained high, and because the girls are all the same size, it made their moves look more precise. But, I do love my DDs. Also, I thought Kayla looked great here. She's a little trimmer, that costume was great, and the straight hair made her look a little sassy and more her age.

I really think both teams did good but one thing I have noticed for a really long time is the doll's outfit they're nylons do stick it out in the back and when the superstars did the mock of them they showed the nylons as well I really wish the dolls would fix that I think the dolls are a great team but the superstars really brought it and they deserved that win
You can tell ycdt had way more stamina and energy than the dolls. Sorry dolls :/

obviously the DD don't learn the positions of the feet and arms. they all have REALLY bad feet, bad arms, hunched shoulders, descending heads. the other team dances like they know what they are doing. they look trained.

I am and always will be DD4L. In this particular battle, I felt the the dolls lacked the confidence and energy that they normally have.
Both teams are excellent and very proficient in what they do however, it depends on the stands that are thrown as well.
The dolls have several stands that could have ate at ycdt but were not thrown in this particular battle. The different dance styles does not make one better than the other.
The opposing team did awesome and looked great, they did deserve to win this one.
I love both of the coaches and think that they equally do a good job with their teams.
One thing that I do commend the DD’s on is not backing down from a challenge.
Even the greatest fighter has at some moment taken a loss.

Give credit where it's due. Dancing Dolls did great. I felt like the stands Kayla chose were definitely on par. They definitely responded really well to the stands YCDT threw at them. The only thing that was missing was the Doll Swagger and by that I mean is the usual Confidence they portray in stand. Gotta give it to the YCDT stunts were amazing and their timing is so clean and crisp. The last stand YCDT threw at them was hilarious because they called them out on what a lot of rival coaches be saying which is the dolls be getting sloppy sometimes with their timing which is true. Can't wait to see the next battle cause you know the Dolls are coming back gunning for it. DD4L
