In this video, I open up a Starrett 12" 435-12-4R imperial combination square. It was approximately half price, so I'm wondering if it is genuine, or a copy?
If it doesn't say Starrett on it somewhere, it isn't a Starrett. They're pretty proud on their name. Also, check the packaging closely with an authentic Starrett box. Small differences mean a lot!

Just bought one off of amazon as well and it looks nothing like that. You have to make sure it’s sold by amazon and not a cheap third party seller.
