I don’t know if Charles has ever interviewed Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, the Chairman of the Tax Reform Committee. If not, I will advise that Charles invites him for an interview on the Tax bill. I am confident that he would explain the intricacies of the bill to everyone’s satisfaction.
this is not about Nigeria but about using Nigeria to fight other African countries that have drove them away because those African countries resources. you people will remember me
But VAT is only levied on high value added goods and services, not the essential ones that ordinary masses need. So, the fear of price hikes that will be passed on to such consumers is misconstrued.
Have anyone ever gotten their taxes payed back to them from the government? That should be the most concern, because even the west remitt back to individuals Taxes in Nigeria are filled with corruption
I just fell repulsive of how this so-called professor branded France on International Television, contrary to its obvious proverbial and inherent historical injustices and atrocities against humanity around the globe to this day. I really wondered the sort of knowledge that this so-called professor would be imparting his students under the his tutolage.
I thought Charles lived in western world! He doesn't seem to understand the issues - VAT versus company tax. Government do not charge companies for VAT, consumers pay it at the point of consumption. Company tax is paid from through profit made by the company! GBN.
shame on you Charles...Cooperate Tax is not going up sir, its going down from 30% presently to 25% with the reform...very pathetic misleading the public
