This is a lovely grouping. I wouldn't have thought to put these together, especially with the coreopsis. It makes sense, though, and would be great in my area. Great combination, thank you!

Good to know about coreopsis Moonbeam which I have. Now I can move a piece to a part shade area which gets morning sun to brighten up. Thanks! Love knowing there is a Japanese anemone Frilly Knickers that stays put. Mine run all over and keep digging it up where I do not want it.

Lovely ideas, I have a hydrangea on the end which starts off cream then goes pink, it's lovely. Apart from that, there's no colour now, they all flower in the spring, so I will get some of these 😊

The aster will also grow well with sun. My neighbors cut down their nagnolia tree and i expected it to die but it is thriving.

It seems I'll have to spend $80+ to get that astrantia here in the States. Would definitely spend half of that to start cloning some.

I'm trying to grow mine from seed. I've done the stratification process and now leaving the sun and warmth to trigger the seed.
This will be my 2nd attempt, but I'm so in love with astrantias that it's the only flower I dream of atm. Hope you can find some seed as $80 is steep for any plant.

@@jomassey4207 if you get seedlings they may not be true to type. However they should be strong plants.

Brecks normally sells some! I am in canada and was able to find some in a few places onlins, so they should be available in the us too!
