All the memories i've spent there in sitio damayan will never be forgotten. Maybe it looked like a hell place but for us who lived there for a half years of our life it seemed like paradise. This documentary says a lot, i've known ate nilda and that little girl maya, i'm a close friend of her kuya. Sitio damayan is the best place because of the best people that i've once met. Awe i cri 😭💔

I want to send any help. I watched the video, understood nothing but sure I saw how horrible her living condition is. I'm from Singapore and I am willing to help this little kid. I hope someone could help me out here! I do not trust any local Philippine agencies or government, I want to help her directly!

+Jian-Min Zhèng No worrires, it is nice to know that some foreign nationalities are willing to help my fellow Filipino even without understanding their language. This was taken last May 2014 and the location is in Tondo, Manila. People in this area even the young ones were forced to harvest/sell charcoals due to their living conditions. And I would like you to know that based on this documentary, people already moved out and being transferred in Cavite. As of now, there is no follow up documentary on this for us to know their current situation. But people behind this documentary will probably help you find them. Again, thank you for your sympathy. :)

The BEST kayo sa documentary,pero ang the BEST ipakita nyo sa kinauukulan ang situation nila,Hindi lang basta may TV show na ganito. Seeing the problem but giving solutions is the BEST. 90% mga dayuhan at squatters from provinces. Our government doing good now, NGO help them to relocate and give sustainable job like farming. In a little way we are making the difference people's lives. This is survival of the unhealthy people. 🙏🌎🤗

What happened to the Philippine government...where did all the go from countries' donations!!! Is the Philippine President doin something about the poverty in some areas of the Philippines! good Day, mayang is my younger sister. we are currently living in our province of romblon, in the eight years we have been here in romblon we have almost forgotten the smell of charcoal smoke that we used to smell. mayang is currently a grade 10 student at our local school here in romblon, Thank you so much for this documentary because it reminded us that the hard, smelly air but our happy youth in this place can be ours, even earlier we experienced hardship in this Place. we are still thankful for the grace we get the day we still breathe the smoke that used to live here with us THANK YOU
