I watched the whole thing like "How is it even possible to get absolutely swallowed in Zwift Cat D with a consistent 2.5 W/kg output". Well, the ending explains everything. This was NOT a Cat D race, the guys who dropped you were NOT Cat D riders and someone who can do a half marathon under two hours is absolutely not an average Cat D rider either. You're literally at the top end of Cat D and it's only a matter of time until you get promoted to Cat C. Ride On!
As someone new to it with an ftp of 129 I don't think I will be racing anytime soon.
