Always wondered why with climbing tower cranes you wouldn’t assemble the boom and counter weights above the climbing section close to the ground then climb it up without the need of another crane, same for dismantling? Cranes that are within a building will be different. Twice they used helicopters to lower the boom in sections from above a new. 42 and 48 story tower.
