Amazing story by Manto. It makes the point that the "mad" were the only sane one's. Poor Bishen Singh only cared about his home in Toba Tek Singh, not about "India" or "Pakistan". The division of British India was so arbitrary..... however, now that we have separate countries, we should learn from the tragedies of the past and try to move forward in peace.
