🎉🎉. Thank you for the shout out today. I also figured out how to avoid paying fees to some of these companies, But BMI does tons for artists who are trying to make a living.
And I agree about chasing the real price of food and other supplies. It’s just WRONG!
Please don’t bash my username, I’m trying my best to support you and your channel and I will continue to do so 😊.
If you found someone out there sharing your personal recipes and how you run your business, Wouldn’t you want compensation for that if you couldn’t stop them from doing so?
Writing hit songs is a lot of work and it’s the way that many songwriters support themselves and their families. But I also agree that we have choices and I’m glad that you found a way to stop paying those fees just like I did. I really hope that i didn’t misinterpreted your words in a negative manner towards me but to be 100% honest it kind of felt that way a little.
Again Thank you for the Shout out 🙏.
Keep on filming and I’ll keep on watching 👍.
Blessings to you and your family and looking forward to seeing your new baby.
Tons of love and respect, Carlos

Not at all. When you open a restaurant you just get hit with so many unexpected expenses and you are so unaware. I fully understand and respect the idea of paying artist. It was just you got a lettter from BMI then ASCAP then then SESAC. It’s just overwhelming for a new owner. Don’t take offense to my comments about your username I didn’t mean it in a negative tone. I’m greatful you are along for the journey. It just reminded me of when I was 25 years old new owner and barely surviving then getting all these other unexpected bills in the mail.

@@KostasLazanas Thank you for your reply. Yeah being in the restaurant business is not for wimps. It seems like every day there’s a new challenge or problems. Kudos to you for being successful 👏👏👏❗️ I believe that this is the worst time possible for buying a house and opening a restaurant.
God Blessed me for over 32 years in business. I’m so happy to be retired and not having to answer each and every phone call that comes to me.
I’m pretty sure that I also struggle with PTSD from all the bad situations that came along. Right after I sold my last restaurant I was hit with a very ugly lawsuit that was completely bogus but here in California the laws protect maternity leave and rehiring… This ex employee found an Attorney two hours away to take her case. She claimed so many outrageous things that it made my head spin. She also used the same attorney that her husband used years before for more or less the same kind of lawsuit and he won ! I’m a good Christian man and have always treated my employees with much respect.
It ended up being that I settled out of court for over $65,K and I still have 6 months of payments before I’m done paying for this horrible situation.
      People can be very ugly.
I have forgiven her for what she has done but right after I did that she moved right next door to me 😑!
California is the worst place to open a restaurant.
      Good luck and God Bless,Carlos
Sorry if I rambled too much.
