tony would’ve saved effy from so much, i feel like the reason the creators stop showing tony is because they needed effy to be sad for gen 2 storyline. in gen 1 we saw how much tony cared about effy and it wouldn’t make sense for him to see her that hurt and not help her.
5:08 will forever remind me of my mom walking past my room when I first saw this scene and pretending that she didn’t see me crying my eyes out although she saw me and another moment where I was crying because my whole life was a lie and she was pretending like everything is fine while sitting right in front of me and every time I looked at her she just looked away and that isn’t even too long ago
I honestly believe this show lead me to drugs I was hooked on drugs for 2 years. I'm one year sober now! I turned my life around bc I had enough of that lifestyle. It gets old after awhile. Hanging around junkies is not a life you want. I got out alive thank god! I'll never get back on drugs. This show made drugs look cool and fun it's really not.
It was pretty realistic depiction of how younger people view drug They not only showed reasons kids do drugs but also thee repercussions, Effy was the proof. You just didn't care to see it. All you wanted to take from the series were drugs and patties. One of the reasons she got sick was because of the drugs - she took most of al in the group. Sid & co all they did was either smoking weed or sell drugs, but Effy not only took pills, but also took one in the vein, which no character ever did before in all four seasons. And it ended bad for her.
