acetone/nail polish remover on a cotton pad or an alcohol wipe for the sticker residue!

you can use alcohol wipes to take off sticker residue off a mac, it works for me!

hello! i'm a month late and i see other comments recommending acetone or nail polish remover to remove the sticker residue but that will also damage the layer of color from the laptop. my recommendation is lotion! it's gentle on your laptop though it might take a few -- maybe 2 or 3 repetition -- to remove the stickiness. just apply a small amount of it on the sticky area, rub it, then remove with cotton balls! :)

I once got a mirror and it had the same sticker residues as you have on your laptop and we removed it by rubbing it with oil.
