Check out another in D2 - Boker Plus Rescom 2.0 and also Boker Plus Subcom 2.0 (plain and also serrated!) - great small practical blades for edc!
D2 is notorious for rusting? Never had that problem. Then again its more of a semi stainless tool steel w good Edge retention.
It’s never been an issue for me either but I’ve read on a lot of blade forums that it rusts really bad so I thought I’d throw out a warning. Thanks :)
I have a kitchen knife in D2 and it rusts quite quickly if I forget to dry and wipe it properly (then again many steels can rust quickly if you don't). D2 and related should also be stored longtime in a dry environment. EDIT: Otherwise I LOVE D2 steel and prices has only gone down the last 10 years and I for one am happy about that!
