Its so cool how they incorporated both Fon-Vodun (which inspired Haitian Vodun) & Egyptian religion together in this revolution timeline, very African. Although not apart of Haitian Vodun, the guardian of the afterlife in yoruba religion is the Orisha Oya and Egungun-Oya. Ogun found in Vodun is not the same diety found in Yoruba religion.
It's explained by Ogu IIRC that gods left humans after some time because they were annoyed with all the conflict and chaos brought by amongst Earth due to some humans and their greed. So now they stay in the spirit world and basically just keeps the good souls instead of being open bar for everyone.
So that’s how it ends eh? I don’t think there’s going to be a season 3 for this show due to cutbacks & politics behind the scenes. Would I love to see a Season 3 of this? Yeah but not sure how since the Villains are now dead. Who will step up? Definitely not Dracula.
Apparently it’s been theorized the next big bad for season 3 will be the demon Mephistopheles we see pop out throughout the season but from what I’ve researched they’re going on hiatus until there’s any confirmation on whether or not a season 3 is possible
@@XaldinX how though?? just how?? they needed dracula to open the gates of hell and let out the hords, so how would with dracula dead and gone, would they be able to just magically crack the barrier open?
11:29 for those saying there's no lose ends anymore. There's absolutely a coming villain in the form of "Old Man Coyote" that influenced Maria and Tera.
@ the creature “ vampire” only born when a writer using vlad as model Around the world,we have several culture have legend about super natural being have few thing same like vampire like drain blood or fear sun light etc But those creature not completly same like vampire
Ah! This is the second series. I started watching it, but 3-4 episodes in and I grew bored of it. Anything that focuses too much on politics and references life in general does not sit well with me. That is why it is history. People need to shy away from using historical accounts in anime to provide a backdrop to a story. I find it dulls the 'entertainment value' of the story.
Sekhmet is not evil. I feel a way. This is one of my Goddess ancestors, and she is NOT evil. She is the WRATH OF GOD. Thats not evil though. She is a daughter of the Most High, and melanated, here go white America again, making my ancestors evil. When she was blood thristy, (the lower goddesses and gods where arch angels), Egypt had defiled the covenant they had with the Most high Father (amen ra, Yahuah), so He sent her. She is not evil though, just destructible, I am sorry Sekhmet that this world totally bastardizes what you are in this clip. She would be similar to the angel of death God sent to destroy the first born of egypt. Is an angel evil if it destroys because God tells them too?
You probably didn't watch the show. Here : ruclips.net/video/4jzVpUnyDDI/видео.htmlsi=ds00MnV2nmCwJ1Yp&t=226 Drolta, a mortal servant of Sekhmet, committed horrible acts by trying to make her come back to Earth. She became a vampire, by choice, seek and found a despicable human being that she thought could support the pressure of a Goddess while being possessed as a vessel. She first made her drink her blood, progressively, and then gave her the heart of Sekhmet to eat aswell, in order to fuse back her goddess into that vessel. But that vessel never was really Sekhmet, as her soul was not there. It was still just Erzebeth, a despicable being, that desecrated Sekhmet by her actions as she had the physical parts of Sekhmet in her. They decided to call her blood, the Ka, her heart, the Ba, and her soul, the Akh. If you look at the link I sent, you can see that the black girl with golden eyes is the vessel of the Akh/soul of Sekhmet, which has her conscience, while Erzebeth has the other 2 parts that are more about her physical and magical abilities. In the show, she is described many times as the Goddess of Healing before being a Goddess of War and of the Sun.
We are watching a movie where christianity is protagonist What you expect about how a god from a religion used to be enemy of christianity get potrayed😂
