What a divine rendering. Pranaams to the creator and dassetan. He is my DRONACHARYA and I have never had a chance to meet him though I sing some of his compositions in my programmes.
Thyagaraja Composition ...."E tavunara nilakada niku enchi judaa nagapadavu........'! Class indeed....Lovely aalapana .....sweet rendition of the keerthanam in perfect tone n diction too. Dasettan has sung with a wonderful vibrancy with so much of minute brigas..flash gamakas that links the short words so beautifully. He did display his exclusive identity by presenting an extempore swarakalpana and rightly maneuvered the same to connect with the outline of the swara notes. ,,wonderful exposition of Kalyani Ragam! Really exhilarated upon listening the concert.....best wishes
