many ppl who are not midzys claim they don't like this song because it sounds too "empty" but as a proud midzy this is actually my favorite song out of all the other itzy songs by far. This song delivers a great message about self doubt for both midzys and itzy and that we should all choose to believe in ourselves despite our own doubts. It’s a reminder that even if we fall, we can always get back up by finding the courage to trust in ourselves

i became a midzy in 2022. sneakers is my first comeback as a midzy and when i tell you it was a nightmare, i am not joking. i've seen so many hate towards the girls. i am not the type to join fanwars but at some point i was not able to control myself bec i wanted to defend them. it's exhausting, bec most of haters do not really think rationally and they enjoy hating these precious girls. i had to stop using twitter at some point bec it started to affect my mental health. i was hurt thinking how could they hate these girls so much. ITZY gives me so much joy and comfort and it hurts knowing i cannot do the same bec there's so much hate going on. but I am proud that despite all of that, I stayed beside them. I never got tired of loving them and their music. I slowed down on being a twt midzy but I still listen to their songs everyday. I still watch their contents. and it made my midzy heart happy again. this song, bet on me, made me feel all the hurt again. each line the girls were singing are like knives that cuts through my heart. each of their individual parts in the video fits so much on how evil people made them feel. the only consolation i get is that i know they will always be at each other's side, itzy is forever five. no matter what happens, they will be each other's comfort and strength. though i know it's not enough so i am also thankful to REAL midzys who never left. i know how important REAL midzys are for them, so I hope we all give our best to support and protect these girls. 💜 ITZY, as always, thank you for your hardwork. 💜
