      Tuhon- not Tausug. Maybe Illongo

    • @a.bodhichenevey1601
      @a.bodhichenevey1601 9 лет назад

      Ryan Rubinstein You are incorrect: Tuhon, n. The supreme being. God. Hambuuk-buuk Tuhan in makapagbaya' sin katan ha lawm alam. There is only one God who controls everything in the world. TUHAN in the TAUSAG language means GOD. check page 487-488 In Irene U. Hassan Tausug Dictionary: Kabtangan Iban Maana. (1994)

    • @MalandroLab
      @MalandroLab 9 лет назад +5

      ***** No, you are still incorrect. Applying your own dialect and its definition to another. Pay attention to the spelling. Tuhan may mean God in TAUSAG. But he is not speaking Tausag. Gaje is from Bacolod and speaks Illongo where Tuhon does not mean God. And while his use of Tuhon may not even come from Hiligaynon language, I can assure you his use isn't from Tausag. And no disagreement here on there only being one God.

    • @a.bodhichenevey1601
      @a.bodhichenevey1601 9 лет назад +4

      Ryan Rubinstein I will grant you that there are numerous dialects in the Philippines, hence much confusion. I stand corrected. Just as Kali in the Tausug language means a hole in the ground, while kalis means sword. It is Tuhan (spelling) in Tausug, and I can see that I was also incorrect in that Gaje here is spelling it Tuhon. My apologies. Ayaw na mayan kaw magtimud sin way na (Don't try to scrape the plate when there is no more...)
