Hi Yash, you have to hold the C during the whole measure + you’ll be playing the E and G as well. (the C represents two different voices) Have fun learning!
It is one octave higher! The start note is a middle C, played one octave higher. That’s the difference between the beginning and the 3rd system. Check out those C’s. :)

There are two Cs at the beginning in the bass (the second treble?) clef but I only hear one. What does that notation mean?
