Something I just felt, because of “a custom grip”. a late great friend of mine always carried a massive .45 on his waist, and carved the grips himself out of walnut. I don’t remember how many rounds were in that thing, but it was a lot and he had another mag on him. Found out about that when I said hello with a little salute one day. He later says “You know why I didn’t salute back? Marines only salute indoors when they’re armed and in full uniform, and I’m not in full uniform 😏 “ one day we were sitting in the back of his audio/guitar shop, smoking. He takes a look at his mags for some reason and says “why am I carrying two kinds of ammunition today?” I think it was fully-jacketed and soft-point? Had an amazing life full of wild events and accomplishments. Passed at 75. I miss you Mike. 🫗
