I'm a truck driver I find that using the bugwash works well but as soon as the bugs hit your windshield You kind of have to do it right away once they set and dry More difficult to get off we'll Only remove a little bit
1 year later, still very useful. If all clean the same, get cheapest one, try to clean bugs when they are fresh. Possibly tape a squeegee to your shield wiper, lol, ok last one was a joke.
Quality video. So the answer is alcohol based??? I live in so cal with no freezing concerns. Yeah It will freeze the glass 2 to 5 days per year on the way to work, but it really isn't that bad.
It's actually methanol. Alcohol supposedly is not good for clear coats and moldings / plastic long term. You won't find it in washer fluids though. Even if you don't have much freezing weather, washer fluids with methanol evaporate from the windshield faster which is better in my opinion.

I did not, just followed the instructions but maybe a higher concentration would work better? Without added methanol I don't think concentrates are any better than what you can buy premixed.

I agree, while the bug remains are fresh is the best time to take advantage of the cleaning chemicals.
great test. sadly the outcome isn’t what we all want to hear. Elbow grease wins this round. Subscribed!
Thank you, more videos to come!

A revisit to this test would be great. I was hoping to see if the Rainx can be verified to clog wiper fluid pumps over time.
I haven’t had any clogging issues on Hondas or Toyotas. I’ve heard of discoloration of washer reservoirs on some vehicles though.

Mix rainx orange with aero 303 tablets and inziet green concentrate
That is quite the formulation, should work better than anything off the shelf.
Good video
Thank you!
Where do you get your test bug smears?
2 hour long drive through a forest at night in the summer, you could hear the bugs hitting the car!

Did you experiment at all with different concentrations of the concentrated stuff?
