The old Asol was so unique. I wish they just changed his ultimate and a skill instead of removing the spinning stars. Now it's just a generic easy-to-use mage. We have plenty of those. It's okay to have a few high skill champs. Makes the game more interesting

I know this rework has made Aurelion Sol popular on PC and many people play him now, but i have been dreading his rework on Wild Rift for months. His old gameplay was unique and his mains loved him for that, no one else plays like that. The orbiting stars mechanic was so fun and different that once you main a champion like that it’s hard to feel connected to such a different gameplay style. His stars made him look more like a space dragon, without them he looks like just dragon. In fact those orbiting stars were so beloved that his niche players were okay with being seen in bush. It was beautiful hearing his theme play while flying half way across the map with a stun growing as big as the lane. It was satisfying landing an ultimate that basically spits a star at an opponent. Aurelion Sol didn’t have to be popular, he was unique and his player base loved him. I think it is a loss of a gameplay style we may never see in the game again. R.I.P.
