I am so used to hearing the chamber orchestra version John had premiered for the Presidential Inauguration. After having gone through his signature edition selections and noticing there was a string orchetsra version, I was delighted to find this video and let me tell you- this performance is phenomenal. It captures all of the emotion and nuance found in the piece. Then I was even more surprised to find out how young these musicians are! They should all be so proud of this performance!
