Steve, great video. I think that many newbies start off shooting everything under the sun, and when they create a website, they tend to throw everything on it. And normally, it is not organized for the general public. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for this video. It’s such a big topic about 6m ago I separated my Commercial and Family work into 2 websites with new logos and socials. Problem is I simply can’t manage them both with little kids etc. So, I’m actually thinking about merging them under the one website and brand. Really interesting your perspective of this and the client experience. Cheers!
Really interesting topic! Don't see that covered too often, well done! Maybe something to consider if I branch out a bit. Great job! Really enjoyed it.
A really interesting topic Steve. I've been thinking about this over the past couple of years, and decided to keep my business site separate from my personal site. My business doesn't have my name in the title so that makes things easier.
Yeah, having a completely different name definitely helps things from getting confusing. I hope one day you start a business with somebody whose last name is Dodge :)
Really interesting, I have a separate blog for gig photos, which I'd only got into a year before the pandemic and another for my landscapes and nature. Though I do have some of my gig shots on my regular Instagram page. Can't wait for music to start back up, if you had any tips on getting pit passes for bigger events that would be a cool video idea. Really enjoyed this so subscribed 👍
Great advice! Niching with websites is a lot like niching with instagram or youtube, I really enjoyed this video!
Thanks so much bud. Appreciate the comment.
@@SteveGerrardPhotography no problem! I'm trying to get better at interacting with the other Photographers on the Facebook page hahahah
Interesting take on this. Nice
Thanks. Agree/disagree?

I think you're right, and we all did that once, right? It takes time to find our feet.
