I'm so glad I found this! Used to have this VHS and would watch it every day before our trip to WDW in 1994. I'm 27 years old, and am going to Disney next month...it's 20 years outdated but I still watch this every day now that I have found it. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing this. It brings back my childhood in a big way.
I love this video. Back before the internet I used to watch this exact same video tape over and over again to get my WDW fix. Brings back such great memories. Thanks for posting!
Great Video!! I hadn't seen 1993's production - didn't really get into WDW until 1993, then I was hooked! Some of the people in this video also appear in later years' videos - shoot a good clip once and get as much mileage from it as you can I guess.
i too used to watch this repeatedly years ago. it was on an old vhs tape that i used to record off the tv. i lost it a few years ago between moves. seeing this on youtube is truly a treat! thanks so much for posting. i'm reminded, though, how unfortunate it was that truly great rides weren't given enough detail in the video. i know time is obviously a huge limiting factor, but it's a shame they weren't able to show more of rides like spaceship earth and the great movie ride; they didn't do them justice.
Its a shame the back lot tour isn't there anymore as of 2011 or Mickey's sorcerer hat at Disney Studios. I wonder what they're going to replace those two things with?
when i saw TDS my brain thought "WHY would they be selling THIS at Tokyo DisneySEA??" then i remembered the year it came out and thw lightbulb in my head went on and i realized "oh yeah THE DISNEY STORE"
Even though I go every year, I always prefer to watch this planning video instead of the ones they do now. At least in this video, they give most of their attractions equal attention. The ones they do today only show the popular attractions and pretty much ignore everything else. It's like Disney is ashamed of its own product.
I remember watching this video when I was 4 years old... Glad I found it again!

I played Mrs Howell at Superstar Television when I was 4-5 years old. It was fun.
Voiceover narration done by the legendary Doug Paul, who did voice work nationally, and was the voice of WPIX Channel 11 in the NY Metro Area.

I miss these times
This video was made with a lot of love. I like how at 20:00 when they show The Living Seas they actually bother to play the Living Seas theme.
ProgressCityPublicTV I hope you never stop posting stuff. This is all juicy 👍🏻
did anyone else notice the scenes from phantom manor at disneyland paris at 7:10 lol

I love this video and unlike the ones of today I do not believe there is not a single princess.
This is the best thing ever.
Bless you for posting this!!
1993 was the first time I went to WDW, I was 3 years old :)
the voiceover is Doug Paul
Ahhh yes the 1990's! I think it's funny they only refer to DHS as "The Disney Studios" not Disney-MGM Studios.
the voiceover is doug paul
Got a physical copy of this from a rental store that was getting rid of it
It's crazy how they alternate between the old and new character costumes at the beginning
We are taking our grandson to Disney world . We have a place to stay and booked delta flights. Where can we buy the tickets?

This video isn't really different. These were the popular attractions then.
To be fair,he is the reason why we still have Imagineers and Disney-MGM/Hollywood Studios.
But yeah, after that he totally screwed it up :P
