Excellent video Joe, it really was very informative and exactly what I was hoping to find. You did a really excellent job in explaining the problem and the remedy to fix it. Thank you. 👏 👏👏
When replacing this motor, how do you get the wire out of the old housing to put the new fan motor in, when it’s not a clamp plug, and you have to take one wire out to put it in the new wire plug.
Watching this video as my freezer keeps making this noise and waking me up every night multiple timed. Warranty repair man said its nothing dony worry 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ guess I gotta repair it myself 🤦🏻♀️
Hi Joe! Thank you for the video! This is exactly what I am looking for. My Maytag upright freezer is very similar to the Whirlpool freezer that you have. An issue is the evaporator fan is not working but every thing else works. Do you have a video regarding solving an evaporator fan? Need your help. Thank you in advance for your reply! More p[ower and God bless
Hello and Thank You, this is the only video I have on the freezer and haven't had any other problems so sorry I can't help you but surely someone out there can. God Bless and Thanks for Watching.
Hello Lynn, the fan motor can be replaced by unplugging the wire harness from the existing motor and plug up the new one and you should be able to get the part from a Whirlpool dealer. Good luck with your freezer and Thanks for Watching
Hi Tammy, you may be experiencing the problem I showed in the video, but you may try removing the contents of your freezer unplug it and let it thaw for a day or so allowing it to thaw completely because sometimes the self-defrost is not enough you will know if thawing fixed the problem a few minutes after plugging the freezer back in. I hope this helps and Thanks for Watching

Thank you. Good visuals and instructions. Saved me $400 from the service guy.
Excellent video. Exactly the problem of our freezer. Let's see if the fan holds up. I put drops of super glue after tightening the clip.
