Always wanted a scat but I settled with a 2010 camaro ss. I beat a manual scat pack just because he couldn’t catch traction then I raced my friends red scat with the auto and I lost badly after that I wanted a scat even more. But now after 3 years I finally got my 2018 Scat pack shaker with the 8speed ☺️
Both cars are amazing, the older Camaro SS is pretty close to the same weight as the scatpak. The newer Camaro and 18 and 19 auto mustang would be a whole different race. Great to see the brotherly love for each other and your cars👍 keep it real
Coming from a 6.0 trans am built I love that thing such a beat LS is a good platform , but I now have a 5.7 Challenger plan on building this thing and go all out like I did with my Trans Am but this route definitely going boost
Great vid 👍 But you boys be cautious when speeding / racing. At the end of the video where you two drag raced I thought the Challenger was running off the road 😨 but that wasn't the case, but it was some dirt & maybe some water on the road, which is enough to get those type of cars sliding & fish-tailing which can be deadly.
Both vehicles are beautiful however the 2010 Camaro SS has 426 hp and the 2018 Scat pack has 485 hp. The large difference in years and power makes it unequal.

I was pulling up on a Scat Pack last December just to see the Kitty on the fender making me let off, i can hang with a Scat but no fucking way am i making a Hello Kitty waste its time or gas on me.
I haven’t even watched the video but I’m telling you right now that the scatpack beat the SS, I’ve raced a few 5th gen SS and won’t every time stick and auto, they are def my favorite year camaro tho and do look so damn good 😍 Oh and drive a stock charger RT with the slow 5.7 v8
No SS is messing with a Scat. Got lots of videos from the track of me gapping them in my Charger. Depending on the driver, a Scat could take a Zl1 too.

392 Scat Pack Bullet even if the ZL1 is a 6Speed i still highly doubt it, because there is no wat the Scat will take on the A10 ZL1 its just not possible even on a sunnyday with the ZL1 driver being hubgover lol

That would mainly come down to the driver as the auto Camaro's do hop off the line with ease but a manual driver that knows the car's abilities and limits well should take an automatic transmission Camaro
The 6th gen Camaro SS will piss all over any Scat pack. Also an automatic would be best. My Car Stock a 6th gen Camaro ss has beaten every challenger/ charger with their Angry bee wanting more. Now that it's procharged/supercharged like the Fireball Camaro. I have beat up on three Hell Cat's also.

@@scatspeed3114 Their are some video's on here. Not sure 1320 would do stock cars. I have beaten them from a dig and roll. The biggest problem with the SS Camaro is those Eagle F1 run flats. They don't hook well. I run Firestone Indy 500's on my supercharged car and they will break your neck they hook so good. But it's a summer tire above 65 degrees sunny day and tires warmed up is a must. Summer tires have their draw back. Cold weather they don't hook so well. I have 13k on this set and they still have 3/4 of the tread as opposed to the original tires 9k totally worn out. They also make them in your car's size. So if you want more grip these will work.

I'm satisfied with the 2015 2SS w.the LS3 motor I only have 25k miles on it never driven in winter that Camaro driver needs to improve his shifting abilities
@@fastfordman1965 the fact that they chose a 3 speed non computer controlled over at least 4 of the latest transmissions they designed renders "modern" out of the game. The fastest cars in drag have always used modified automatics, when my 6L80 goes out i most likely switch to the 3 speed too or a 4L80.
Dodge has better gears than Chevy too, best you can get in an auto is 3.27 and 3.42 in a stick unless you have a 1le or Zl1 which allow you to get 3.91/3.73. More power with a better transmission powering down to better gear setup will always beat a lesser combo regardless of who made it.
It's a no contest as a daily driver or on a long road trip. Challenger is way more comfortable no matter how you modify either car. A 30 minute ride in the back seat of the Camaro will leave you with leg cramps and a sore back!

First off that’s a older camaro new ones have more horsepower. Not enough to beat a scat pack. But put it up against 6.1 litre in the challenger and the 6.2 in the Camaro, the camaro would destroy it just because of the huge weight difference.
I like the way the Camaro's look but for me they are too small on the inside when your 6'4, Now my 2019 Challenger Scat Pack is nice and roomy on the inside for someone my size (with the seat slid all the way back lol). Nothing but love for all muscle cars out there.
I'm 6'5 and I love the Camaro space/interior just fine. Then again I also own an eclipse GSX and a 2nd gen mazda RX 7 . So my opinion may not matter lol.
I ended up going with a challenger rt 2020 because I couldn't fit in a chevrolet or ford comfortably. 6'5 lol. Plus the blind spots on the camaro are awful imo
Nehemiah Abraham it’s not a drivers race, 2015+ scatpack is way faster than the 5th gen, I had a 16 Camaro SS, and the difference from the 5th gen to the 6th gen is night and day.

I own a 2011 SS but any 5th gen camaro owner CANT say that a scatpack is slower,scatpacks are pretty decently fast and if they can grip they can most definitely beat a camaro SS on the straight
Have to mention what sone might not know. My 2016 392 SRT challenger. Its automatic but you can push shifter to the left and then you have a slap stick for all 8 shifts. And you can set your RPM limiter for each gear via dash controls etc. I've learned from experience its automatic all the way!! For racing. I have new stock size tires and it launches very well with traction control on but still barks the tires thru first 4 shifts. I get others all the time.. damn, thats just a stock 392?!! Yep thanks

I've had a 10 Camaro SS, 05 GTO and 13 Coyote 5.0, they were all super fun cars! I now have a 15 Scatpack Challenger 6spd. Great video.

I'm 6'5 and I love the Camaro space/interior just fine. Then again I also own an eclipse GSX and a 2nd gen mazda RX 7 . So my opinion may not matter lol.
I ended up going with a challenger rt 2020 because I couldn't fit in a chevrolet or ford comfortably. 6'5 lol. Plus the blind spots on the camaro are awful imo

It’s a drivers race. The guy in the camaro can’t drive that well. Hence the L. I’ve walked plenty of scatpaacks with my 2012 SS/RS.
Nehemiah Abraham it’s not a drivers race, 2015+ scatpack is way faster than the 5th gen, I had a 16 Camaro SS, and the difference from the 5th gen to the 6th gen is night and day.
@@STILLNIGHTPEARL yup auto ss has like 410hp manual 430 and 6th gen like 455. Scat packs are 485 they are pretty ahead not gonna lie. My G8 beat SRTs but mine was cammed and full bolt ons.
Same here I drive a 15’ ss 1le I can beat 392 and scat packs and my car is stock. That fool can obviously not drive, that burnout was trash

I own a 2011 SS but any 5th gen camaro owner CANT say that a scatpack is slower,scatpacks are pretty decently fast and if they can grip they can most definitely beat a camaro SS on the straight

Have to mention what sone might not know. My 2016 392 SRT challenger. Its automatic but you can push shifter to the left and then you have a slap stick for all 8 shifts. And you can set your RPM limiter for each gear via dash controls etc. I've learned from experience its automatic all the way!! For racing. I have new stock size tires and it launches very well with traction control on but still barks the tires thru first 4 shifts. I get others all the time.. damn, thats just a stock 392?!! Yep thanks
Both cars are beautiful....but i prefer the Camaro......since my 14 years old i drive Chevy cars, my favourite is the Camaro...my first car is a 4 gen Camaro 1998 Silver coupe 😍.
I respect Dodge and Ford but GM/Chevy is insurmountable...
