Yea for me it was back in 7th grade back in late 2010 when I first discovered the Multiplayer demo, played the demo for endless hours until like a year or two later I finally bought the full game but by then I only got to play a few matches of multiplayer because console servers got shut down shortly after. This game was really fun multiplayer wise.
Yes I absolutely love the battle point system in this game to earn vehicles and killstreaks. The tank and helicopter were so powerful and fun to play around with.

Yea the sequel was quite disappointing honestly. It did not live up to the original game and it didn't even have a multiplayer mode. I miss the battlepoint system in Homefront's multiplayer so you could purchase drones, humvees, helicopters, and drones. The create a class system was simple and had enough weapons and perks to build a unique loadout. Homefront was a great alternative to Call of Duty and Battlefield.

Yes I would love a new homefront game in the same style as this game. And sadly no there really isn't a playerbase for Homefront on PC. Best you'll get is 5 to 10 players on a daily basis. You mostly have to organize play sessions with your friends on steam or discord if you want to set up a proper match. If there was more players I would be playing this game a lot more often.
The attack helicopter is straight up vicious! My favorite vehicle to use is the Abrams tank, that thing packs a punch and it can take quite the punishment from enemy rockets!
I used to love chasing the leaderboards on this game after school. Once you get enough battle points you can get a helicopter and slaughter everybody on the field such a fun game. Hopefully one of these days they come out with Homefront 3

Just sold my og copy of this from ps3 and I kinda regret it. Had alot of good times on this game ❤it felt shitty and like a knock off cod at first but the more I played it the more I realized it was unique as hell and highly slept on.
Ugh bro don't get me started I miss the Xbox 360 Party Chat days so much. So many absurd funny jokes while playing classics such as Black Ops 1 or Homefront. We need that type of environment back in today's gaming scene!

The new Delta Force game looks like it's trying to go with a mix of Call Of Duty and Battlefield style gameplay! Glad to see it will be running on the Unreal Engine as well just like Homefront did. :)
Ok but be aware that there are not many players left online, most you will find on any given day is about 10 to 12 players and that's pushing it honestly. I wish more people still played this game it's honest simple fun. Thank you for checking out the video! :)

Yes I agree it was the perfect blend between the two games. It had great ideas and features in multiplayer, there was just a few technical aspects that needed to be flushed out properly. The battle point system to earn killstreaks and vehicles was pretty creative in my opinion.
Massive balance issues in the MP tho. The M16 is by far the best rifle when you click fast enough or use an autoclicker. The shotgun can randomly oneshot you even midrange when just one pellet hits. Helicopter can speed up so much they outrun missles and have a passive repair perk. Drones could get pretty cancerous especially inside buildings.
Yea the multiplayer wasn't perfect by any means, the shotgun was very op and had sniper rifle type range, the drones can get out of control and spammed since they cost a small amount of BP. The helicopters were super annoying and difficult to take down. But overall I think they really delivered a special multiplayer experience that combined elements from Call Of Duty and Battlefield with the vehicles, along with the large map sizes.

I played this game on ps3 online and remember how good it was. I knew back then it was ahead of call of duty but battlefield 3 was released in the same time period and simply dwarved homefront. But it definately was a good game and shouldve gotten a better sequal
Yea this was a great alternative to Battlefield and Call Of Duty. I really liked the Battlepoints system in multiplayer as the main way of earning your killstreaks and vehicles. Homefront had some awesome maps as well.

The online is fun! It's comparable to the old modern warfare games in terms of mechanics and play style. Unfortunately there are not many players online, only about 5 to 10 on a daily basis. So finding a match is rare nowadays.

Unfortunately Homefront Online Servers for the PS3 and Xbox 360 have been shut down for years now. The only way you can play Homefront multiplayer nowadays is buying the PC version through Steam which still has it's servers up. :)

Agreed 100% the single player was generic and boring. The multiplayer has a nice formula to it honestly. A Call of Duty style create a class system with big Battlefield type maps with vehicles to accompany them. The Battle-Point system was unique as well, I liked how you can spend them on killstreak rewards. I feel like the Battle-Point system encouraged players to play the objective more often since you're properly rewarded.
Yes but that was only for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. On the PC version the servers are still up and active! Sadly however the player counts are very low.
@yeetithceetith It's not very active multiplayer wise. You usually have to organize a session with friends 9 times out of 10. Rarely you can find 4 to 5 players during the afternoon on weekdays. I would say it's worth buying when it is on sale.

No there is no cross platform with Homefront. PS3 servers have been shutdown for over 10 years now.

@FlowADHD pretty small lol, most days it's only about 5 to 10 players online. But sometimes, there are events with 20 plus players.

No this gameplay was recorded on PC through the Steam version. Sadly PS3 and Xbox 360 multiplayer servers for Homefront have been shut down for awhile now.

Multiplayer is a bigger fun to play than awkward and annoying single player
Agreed 100% the single player was generic and boring. The multiplayer has a nice formula to it honestly. A Call of Duty style create a class system with big Battlefield type maps with vehicles to accompany them. The Battle-Point system was unique as well, I liked how you can spend them on killstreak rewards. I feel like the Battle-Point system encouraged players to play the objective more often since you're properly rewarded.

Yea honestly it's a really dead game on PC. You usually need other friends who own the game to organize a lobby most of the time.

Yes I enjoy the Battle Point system Homefront implemented to earn killstreaks and vehicles.

Yes but that was only for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. On the PC version the servers are still up and active! Sadly however the player counts are very low.
@RevisedGames is it worth buying? Can you get a game any time or is it rarely?
@yeetithceetith It's not very active multiplayer wise. You usually have to organize a session with friends 9 times out of 10. Rarely you can find 4 to 5 players during the afternoon on weekdays. I would say it's worth buying when it is on sale.
