    amazing as usual ❤ please i have a question, i have a patient, he wants to put veneers on the whole upper jaw, he just doesn't like the shade of these natural teeth but he wants exactly the same shape what you advise me please🙏

      @masterdentaltechnician1914  9 месяцев назад +1

      That's a complex question. Are you planning to do non prep or 0.8 veneer preps. What is the current shade and what is the desired shade? In Exoxad 3.2 you can reuse the current shapes of an arch and design the new crowns with that. In older versions use the PreOp adapter function to copy the teeth of the PreOp to the design.

      @@a1gle take a PreOp scan before prepping. Design your crowns close to the pre-op in height and width. Adapt to PreOp . Look at one of my all on x videos where I demonstrate it. I also have a PDF for download on my Patreon page in the shop.

    Great video, is it possible to do this design with a wax up design done in the past?

      @masterdentaltechnician1914  4 месяца назад

      If you use denture teeth it's a preset of shapes. I wish there was Adapt to preop like in the fixed module. All you can do is position it the best you can.

    Great video, just a question. Where do I install the digital analogs? Implant library or attachment?

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914
      @masterdentaltechnician1914  7 месяцев назад

      There are 2 Folders when you download them from the Petreon page. Implant goes into the implant folder and the one for the Modelbuilder goes into : modelcreator/implants

    Great Video! I was working with an exocad tech to try to install the zest library to design an over-denture but we are not able to install. The zest library on the excavator website did not work and does not show when the case is set up as you demonstrated. Can you can give some pointers on your workflow. I am willing to purchase your analogs from your workflow but I want to be sure it will work.

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914

      The Zest Library has no model creator function and Locators must be in place. My workflow is fully digital. That means from IOS scan to selecting the correct locator height, to design the denture and printing a model. All digital. It does not work with ZEST

      It might be that you are not using the correct order form. It's an StockAbutment and therefore does only work when you select Ball attachment in the order form

  • @kristijanmalus48

    So to clarify this is protocol:
    1st we need to:
    - Buy Zest Scanbody
    - Scan it
    - Buy your library and design denture
    - Order Zest locators (male parts)
    - Print a model with your analogs from library
    - In the meantime mill or print denture base&teeth
    - Screw the male parts of locators in the printed model and attach the female parts on it to pick them up with milled/printed base
    -Glue the teeth and base with special material and finish the denture.
    Is that correct, or am I missing something?
    Thank you!

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914
      @masterdentaltechnician1914  3 месяца назад

      That's correct. I would pick up the locator housing in the patient's mouth though. IOS scans are highly inaccurate when it comes to implant cases and cross arch accuracy. The point of this workflow is to get a headstart but it does not take away the fact that IOS scans are inaccurate.

      @@masterdentaltechnician1914yes, pick-up in patients mouth is mandatory.
      But can acrylic base without internal metal substructure for locator housings work for longtime?
      Which PMMA, would you preffer for final restoration?

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914
      @masterdentaltechnician1914  3 месяца назад

      @kristijanmalus48 I use Lucetone 199 printed and milled/or printed teeth. You can use the milled PMMA from Harvest Dental for example. When you want internal bars see my other video on how to do those.ruclips.net/video/vKp_jKLYmBE/видео.html
