It never dawned on me, but to succeed in this industry you have to sign your life (namely your soul, because there is nothing worth more than the soul) away. She likely chose the right path and decided not to go through it… and forfeited her career because of it.

One of the things I have noticed is that usually the one thing that can wreck havoc on singer/songwriters and musicians in general is if they have trouble with their personal relationships, like boyfriends, girlfriends, or even family problems. That's why I said in one of my comments, "I hope you are well?" Because things happen sometimes outside of our professional lives that can destroy or derail our success and goals. I really hope she is ok, I really hope she can come back to music. I really appreciate everything musicians do for us as far as giving us great tunes, lyrics and sounds!
