I'm glad you liked it, hope you weren't disappointed that it wasn't Chicken McNuggets. I almost feel like a mother watching her child opening presents on Christmas.
We do make brown paper bag lunches. But we also have the same kind of hard plastic lunch containers decorated with cartoon characters. I experienced both while I was growing up. Now as an adult, most people use an insulated soft plastic lunch bag with an icepack and velcro or zipper closure to keep the food fresh without the use of a refrigerator.
Feeling poorly today, so seeing you video pop up was a life saver. Thanks again for your calming and soothing asmr, you've helped me get through some tough times. X
You survived aggressive ants and squirrels, disrespectful foxes while working 3 jobs to keep your feet warm, and still remained resourceful enough to render another charming video. You amaze me Charlotte. The new windows definitely shed more light on your beauty........
2. Goldfish crackers contain MSG. That ingredient on the label that says: “autolyzed yeast” is a form of MSG. MSG is a flavor enhancer used in a variety of processed foods and spice mixes.
This video crystallizes one of the great wonders of the world. How can someone eat such an array of chocolate, sweets & biscuits & yet stay so slim? 03:37 "I like to film......the bin men coming round" Well, that's an interesting hobby to have 🤔 32:14 That's easy. Opal fruits, made to make your mouth water! 😋 The year is harder to guess though. I'd say early '90s. 1993 maybe? Thank you Heidi for sending such a wonderful box of sweets & gifts 👍
Starburst have been that in the US for my whole life. I looked it up and they were called Opal Fruits until I think around 1959. I thought I was going crazy...and/or developing dementia! Haha.
That has to be the best selection of treats ever in the ASMR community. The look on your face as you grabbed and protected those goldfish was a life complete moment. Great video. Looking good. 👍👌
My grandad was talking about Starburst the other day and about how they used to be called 'Opal Fruits'. He says he remembers the exact day in 1998 when he went into his local supermarket looking for them to find that they hadn't got any because they had changed the name. Apparently he was devastated and even insists that they don't taste the same either. 😂😂
I recognize that box. Yay to Heidi for sending it to you and thanks for sharing it with us Charlotte! I am a scruncher and a folder. Scruncher if busy and hurried, folder if in a meeting or otherwise bored. As for Starburst, they were Opal Fruits, but in the US, they have been Starburst since the 60's. In the UK, it was in 1998. Yes, I cheated because I have never known them as anything else and had to find out.
"Hello some of you may know me as ASMR Angel, and I am addicted to cheddar baked goldfish crackers" I think it's something so sweet, and innocent about you loving something that we the in states can find pretty easily. It somewhat makes me appreciate living here (almost, not a fan of the POTUS).
Nasha's Knowledge you need to savour every fish, every single one. It's probably the same with cadburys chocolate and Brits, we just take it for granted.
Oh, the only things I wish we had in the States that you can get at any UK supermarket are UK Diet Coke (the formula is different and it tastes much nicer than the US kind) and Mr. Kipling's baked goods. I would kill to have both available at any neighborhood supermarket around these parts! As far as outside the supermarket, you should be grateful for Greggs and Costa Coffee -- I fell in love with Greggs' sausage rolls the last time I was there, and Costa makes the perfect latte that requires no extra sweetening and I would probably ditch my coffee maker in favor of that every day if we had Costa Coffee on this side of the pond.
Girl, you've even got me riding on the Goldfish train! It's because of your videos that I started purchasing Goldfish and now I'm on my third bag of the stuff, which is easily twice the amount of Goldfish I'd eaten in my entire life preceding! And now I've got to hunt down those Tate's cookies to see if they're available on Amazon. Oh, and I love those Hershey's Cookie Layer Crunch candies! My absolute favorite variety is one you probably won't like, the dark chocolate with mint wafers. When I first discovered them I found I could plow through an entire bag in one sitting, oops! Anyway, I hope you liked the milk chocolate with caramel variety just as much as I liked my dark chocolate with mint variety and I'm looking forward to seeing that video with you playing with the Play-Doh!
Indeed! I don't know where my head's been with those golden delights! BTW, I did actually order three varieties of Tate's Bake Shop cookies and got them shipped to my address a couple of days ago. The first ones I tried were the oatmeal raisin. Well, I say I tried them... I took a bite out of the first cookie, got up, made myself some tea while going through the rest of my mail and feeding my dog her dinner, sat down with my cup of tea, and ate the rest of the sleeve of cookies with my tea for dinner. SO. DAMN. GOOD. Anyway, you deserve all these treats and more, and we American subscribers need to keep on getting you hooked up with Goldfish! You shouldn't have to pay for them but every once in a great while!
I had no idea that "cheddar" wasnt the original Goldfish flavor! "Saltine"??? What kind of craziness is that? I have never even seen it before today. Cheddar is the one and only.
I luv your adoration of Goldfish crackers. It is SO adorable! It's funny that you mentioned Quavers because when I was in England 4 yrs ago I fell in luv with them and my English friend is coming to Chicago next year and the first thing I told him to bring me was Quavers!
While I dont like eating videos, I love watching your reactions regarding the different foods you receive. As for chocolates, I grew up eating Fannie Mae Candies. Not saying its the best, but you can keep the Godiva. Not worth the price imo. Now the Hersheys Cookie crunch is the bomb! Sometimes cheaper is better lol. I have been to Hershey, Pennsylvania and the taste of freshly made chocolate is wayyyy different than the product we buy on the shelves. Now off to search for some Quavers, whatever they are.
Jeezz... so many delicious calories. Just gained 2 kilos just watching you eating. If only those artificial flavour wouldn't catch your attention so much. But anyway, such a big box of pleasures would kill me and I'd die happily. ;P
I'd like to know where Heidi got those black cherry gummies! Lol but you should try thr goldfish crackers in tomato soup. Once they start to soften just a touch- perfection :)
I like my gummy bears to be chewy kind of like the Haribos. Is that weird. Also if you put them on ice cream and they get cold they get even chewier and I LOVE them like that!
I thought you could buy starburst jelly beans over here? Vaguely think they were the first new product out once the name changed? Maybe thinking about going on holiday abroad though.
WEIRD I was munching on some tate's cookies during the goldfish bit and then you pulled them out! Pro tip: I refrigerate them and they are even better. Learned that from my roommate and I've never turned back!
I'm glad you liked it, hope you weren't disappointed that it wasn't Chicken McNuggets. I almost feel like a mother watching her child opening presents on Christmas.
Not at all....not a chicken nugget fan anyway!! If my stomach could have created a box, this would have been it!!
I'm so glad you sent her the caramel m&ms, because they are my new jam, and I want everyone to try them. lol.
I live in the states but send me some of these lol
Great box
Heidi, where did you get those Cherry gummy bears? They look delicious!!! 😋
Wow. Impressively big. Thank you Heidi!!!!!
We do make brown paper bag lunches. But we also have the same kind of hard plastic lunch containers decorated with cartoon characters. I experienced both while I was growing up. Thank you so much Charlotte and of course Heidi for the wonderful entertainment!

I work for the US Post Office so I know what happens to parcels that are sent from overseas that aren't taped up properly.
Oh Charlotte... this addictive romance between you and the goldfishes is so heartwarming ... :D

Feeling poorly today, so seeing you video pop up was a life saver. Thanks again for your calming and soothing asmr, you've helped me get through some tough times. X
I love crystalized clove.
Yes, Charlotte American meatloaf has a peanut butter center... except, it's fall now... so we add pumpkin spice.
I KNEW it!! 😉
Wait is this true? We really put peanut butter in our meatloaf here? (Sorry I know this was two years ago lol)
You survived aggressive ants and squirrels, disrespectful foxes while working 3 jobs to keep your feet warm, and still remained resourceful enough to render another charming video. You amaze me Charlotte. The new windows definitely shed more light on your beauty........

Please excuse my handwriting, if bad handwriting is a sign of intelligence, than I'm a genius.

Georgia Mae he's probably right, they might have changed the recipe on the sly
Georgia Mae
Loved the video, too. Great representation of US treats, Heidi! 🍫🍬🍭🍪

Brilliant video and fantastic sounds
Pepperidge Farms just needs to send her a lifetime supply of Goldfish. People who love them that much should not be treated this way! Lol
Hear hear!!!
This is such a random thing to say but I just love your hair 😍😍 (and your ASMR videos of course!) 😊

I only make unboxing videos if I have something to open.
ASMR Angel you mean no one has sent you a box of food?! I am totally about to get one together. Same P.O. Box?
Hey. I’ve been to the Hershey’s Megastore in Times Square New York. Love gentle candy eating ASMR 🥰🌹

Awesome video! It's nice trying international snacks. You look amazing btw. I love your style! 👌
The sounds of the gummy bear packet reminded me of a crackling fire
I was -screaming- FIRE!, i mean whispering f-i-r-e at my laptop

SO pleased you are fully appreciating the Goldfish, they're one of life's understated pleasure!!

I had no idea that "cheddar" wasnt the original Goldfish flavor! "Saltine"??? What kind of craziness is that? I have never even seen it before today. Cheddar is the one and only.
They're by far the best one, 'original' is nothing compared to Cheddar!!
I remember Opal Fruits changing to Starburst in 98, i was 14... now at 36 i sometimes still call them Opal Fruits. 💘
I’m the same, still ask for Opal fruits 😂
American sweets sounds nice, now i need to try them
the black cherry gummy bears sounds like frying!
Love the hair 😄
Opal fruits was the original name of starburst
Would the ultimate trick or treat costume be ahem... Candyman? :P
Opal fruits 😊
Starburst were Opal Fruits!
Starburst fruit chews were introduced in the UK in 1960 and called Opal Fruits. I always knew them as Starburst. Not sure of any other name changes.
Samantha Brakefield I wonder what year they changed to opal fruits
Is it weird that I like these kind of sounds..? xD
Play-Doh age 34. You put a smile on every sad face. :)
Now I've gotta find those licorice gummy bears.... they look sooooo good!

Opal fruits and they were from England! Name changed in 1967 when they were brought to USA.
Used to be called Opal Fruits and the name was changed when they came to America in 1967 so not 2003 unfortunately
The name didnt change here in the UK until 1998

Linzy Brakefield I can't buy those anymore. I'll eat the entire bag in one sitting.
Me too Heidi! They are just SO good.
OMG their oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip walnut varieties are pure HEAVEN, they really are.
Nice one Heidi 👍👍👍
I luv your adoration of Goldfish crackers. It is SO adorable! It's funny that you mentioned Quavers because when I was in England 4 yrs ago I fell in luv with them and my English friend is coming to Chicago next year and the first thing I told him to bring me was Quavers!
They're just TOO cheesy for me....there's a cheese line and quavers crosses it!

I thought you could buy starburst jelly beans over here? Vaguely think they were the first new product out once the name changed? Maybe thinking about going on holiday abroad though.

What brand made the black cherry gummi bears?

georgeeliot I’m going to be inLong Island, NY in a couple of weeks. So I may have to check out the actual Tate’s Bake Shop.
Oh man I could go for some jelly baby bears
The one bag of cookies is gluten free, because that flavor only came in gluten free.
Great a new video :D
Hey Charlotte, where have you been?
A busy busy bee as always
Have you ever been to the giant M&M store in London? It's incredible! :)
I've not but I've been to the one in Las Vegas
No, lol, we have plastic or cloth lunch boxes too. Several that you showed I remember having as a child.
