Lupe has one of the smoothest flows in Hip-Hop, not to mention the story telling in his songs are top notch, i still remember when people would deem him as Hip-Hop's saviour when he first entered the scene "the breath of fresh air" also great reaction by the way. Also another good lupe song is 'Intruder Alert'.
At his peak everyone was on the Lupe wagon, nowdays most of his stuff flies under the radar but then again his early work is his best type of work, his new stuff is so-so.
@@d1sk-cord531 Have you listened to his new stuff? He's better than he has ever been. Tetsuo and Youth and Drogas Waves are better than Food and Liquor or The Cool.
I love your perspective on music. I was drawn into Lupe Fiasco as a kid. His delivery and hard hitting lyrics is what drew me into Hip-Hop. So it's satisfying seeing your reactions because it was just so similar to mine when I started to listen for lyrics.
There's a lot of Lupe songs you should listen to. Pretty much every song from him is something different, important and special so it's hard for me to recommend just one. The one i've been listening to a lot recently is not necessarily his best song but it is an incredible one called King Nas.
Jonylah forever and Alan forever are amazing. He reimagines life for a 6 months old and 3yr old that died and were in the news ."jonylah watkins" and "alan kurdi" a quick google of their names before listening to the songs will make them super impactful.
Been listening to Lupe since I heard battle scars, superstar, and the show goes on when I was younger. He definitely has one of the strongest catalogs in the game to date!
It's a alot of Lupe songs I would recommend but I would go with Wav Files off his newest Drogas Waves album. I saw a previous commenter mention King Nas which is another one from Drogas Waves.
You’re freaking amazing! If you want to listen to some truth rap spitting by him you should listen to the song put you on game it makes you think like crazy, stay blessed much love
He has a bar on a freestyle that's says "I'm red hot chilli, I'm Anthony Keidis" so hearing you say his flow has extra hot peppers made me smile. I'm a long time fan I've met him and got an Album signed.
@@VocalCitizen I am rediscovering Lupe Fiasco these past couple of weeks. I realized that for years I had been listening to his music as something that plays in the background and had never really paid attention to the lyrics. And the lyrics are a piece of art on its own with all the metaphors and philosophical references. Last night, I came across your video and you introduced me to another dimension to Lupe's songs that.I had not thought about before - beats and flow. Thank you for that.
@@svobodastanimirova5771 agreed. English is not my mother tongue though I’ve been listening to Lupe since 2007 and I still « re-discover » some of his lyrics today.
There were less lyrics spelled incorrectly but many just had the lyrics wrong. "To short" in the first verse should have been "Too $short" the rapper. If you want to hear amazing Lupe Fiasco flow, crazy rhymescheme, etc; listen to "Glory". It's one of his oldest songs but still remarkable.
Appreciate your Lupe reactions! Will check all of them out. Can you also react to Bone Thugs N Harmony - Tha Crossroads (video!)? They are legends in the game and have such a unique sound/flow which they originated and many singers and rappers try to mimic.
First first was about his history with hip hop and influence from Too short, Tupac, and Nas. 2nd verse about him coming to terms with his environment and how hustling and crime were engrained in the culture. 3rd Verse is all the issues in the world he sees but all anyone cares about is the flashiness from Hollywood at the end of the day
You seem to really appreciate lyricism from what i'm seeing. Maybe you should try Ka. Ka is an underground rapper who's insanely abstract, he doesn't live from music since he's like a 49 years old firefighter and doesn't tour. He mostly raps on beat that doesn't have any drums, has a very eerie cold and slow flow, but dude has probably the purest pen in all of hip-hop. He dropped an album recently, Descendants of Cain, and it's incredible, clearly my favorite of the entire year. A song like Solitude of Enoch or Patron Saints from that album would make a good reaction, you might have to pause every bar thought, it's insane how many little incredible lines/metaphors he has in a single line
Some of the lyrics are off but great reaction! Also, that last verse, he listed 24 of the world's ills and ended it with sitting on chrome, 24 inch wheels.
I never medicate before I do reactions. 😇 I need it after I sit on that stool for hours... nope 👎 that’s just normal me... I’m just animated and weird naturally 😉
This lady just destroyed so many stereotypes I don't even know what to think. What a vibe
Hooray 😃
Had to revist this all the way from RSA 🇿🇦❤️
Oh.... thank you so much! I've a new demographic!!!
I'm thrilled.

I love how passionate you are haha... Lupe Fiasco is just one of those rare special artists. Genius.

@@nyrisj That's your opinion, in my opinion his new stuff is okay, nothing that could touch Food & Liquor or The Cool.

Lupe Fiasco and Tom MacDonald are my go-to hip hop artists...
