First time my tractor has ever cranked-no started on me. I checked that little connector, cleaned it up and bam! Fired right up. Thanks so much for the tip. Incredible. Saved me so much time and probably money.

I dipped that connector into some muriatic acid for about 5 min and dip in water after to neutralize the acid. Worked perfect. Learned that trick from this old timer restoring old car wiring.

Thank you! Same problem here it seems. I cranked on the battery so much trying to figure it out i then put a jumper on the battery and either that or cranking at low volts fried the solenoid on the starter. (The tractor owners manual says to not jump the battery) Replaced that after looking everywhere for part number (its a Mitsubishi starter/solenoid) replaced it which was a total nightmare because of lack of space in the engine bay. After i did that still wouldn't start. found this video, sand paper and electrical cleaner fixed it! Thank you!

That is great, i very happy you found the problem and got it resolved. I glad the video helped out. Over all they are very reliable tractors. Thanks.

Experiencing this right now. Just bought the glow plug relay because I thought that was the issue and still no voltage at the glow plugs. Will give this a shot.

Definitely check the wire to the glow plugs for corrosion. Apparently this happens to a lot of mahindra tractors.

I have had that same issue on my Mahindra 1526 for over a year. I found the same cause as yours. As of yet, I can"t figure out how to open up that connector to clean the corrosion.

Lol. Yeah I still haven’t figured out how to open it. But I did pinch it down and put dielectric grease and it fires up very quick in the cold weather.
