So many people think therapy means you're failing and weak, but it's so good to have a completely objective opinion on your relationship and possibly have someone see observations of habits you might not see yourself. Friends and family are great for support, but they're often biased.

That is ONLY if you both weren't virgins before marriage or HAD sex at least one before the wedding. ALL friends I know who ever had sex before marriage had a less "exciting" life after settling down than before. Why? Because they did all those stuff already and there is no excitement left to look forward to.

I absolutely love the advice to start couple's counseling early. This is not something you hear often (I've really only heard it from one other person on TV). Exactly right on!
He advice about the cabinet door is brilliant, in a marriage, relationship, you can't just change someone to be the way you want, you have to acceptance their personality, activities and the way they are. Those are the little things that keep you guy together.
