You've put the album on and rocked your way through 'Hello' and 'Roll with it'; things are going pretty well by any album's standards. the band had trouble getting the drumming right live on stage with this song cos of the drumming starts/stops before a new verse in the song ( albeit alan white being a great drummer) I read somewhere that cos of the odd timing mishap when rehearsing it they left it off when playing live, plus even during this period of the band the song choice for live songs were huge, must have been a headache!

Im a huge Oasis fan since i was 13. Im 19 now and after listening to all the songs they have made i gotta say that theres no such song that makes me so happy as hey now i dont know why. 5 years being my favourite song and listening to it daily. Favourite song by my favourite band in my favourite album
I took a walk with my fame down memory lane. I never did find my way back. Those lyrics are relevant to both the Gallagher Brothers today. As much as I love this band. It’s hard to not admit that they’re stuck in the 90s but then again who else wouldn’t be, I was like six when the band broke up so I never truly got to experience the height of their fame in the mid to late 90s but from what I’ve seen in documentaries and firsthand accounts from them it was pretty wild still a great fucking beer no matter what anyone says rock ‘n’ roll for life

Damm these guys could rock...
When I made it to track 5 there was it a rock N roll fanático was born!
I listened to hey now dozens of time that day, reading the lyrics and trying to make sense of what it meant and even though this song was the very first in my life that I feel in love with!
Music was the main reason for me to try and learn English and all that started with hey now back in the late 90's, my musical taste devoloped throughout the years but it's impossible to forget the impact this album and specially this song had on me
Thanks Oasis you chaps are real legends
They're back!
the track with the least views than any from morning glory..yet its the 1 track that transports me back when the album came out
Excellent comment, I feel the same, well done
Im a huge Oasis fan since i was 13. Im 19 now and after listening to all the songs they have made i gotta say that theres no such song that makes me so happy as hey now i dont know why. 5 years being my favourite song and listening to it daily. Favourite song by my favourite band in my favourite album
These really were great times during the 90's.
Underated Masterpiece !!
I wish I could relive when I listened to this the first time.
the view count barely changed after 8 months, the internet is missing out on this gem
I took a walk with my fame down memory lane. I never did find my way back. Those lyrics are relevant to both the Gallagher Brothers today. As much as I love this band. It’s hard to not admit that they’re stuck in the 90s but then again who else wouldn’t be, I was like six when the band broke up so I never truly got to experience the height of their fame in the mid to late 90s but from what I’ve seen in documentaries and firsthand accounts from them it was pretty wild still a great fucking beer no matter what anyone says rock ‘n’ roll for life
The most underrated song in their entire discography
Hay tanta nostalgia en sus canciones. Es algo tan único de esta banda. Espero estar vivo para el dia que milagrosamente se unan de nuevo.
The chorus…The chorus….One of the best never listen…Thanks for all Brother❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Played this song every morning on a holiday in ibiza in 2005. Brings back good memories of youth and health.
One of the best songs off of Morning Glory easily.
I hitched a ride with my soul by the side of the road
Just as the sky turned black
I took a walk with my fame down memory lane
I never did find my way back
You know that I've gotta say time's slippin' away
And what will it hold for me?
What am I gonna do while I'm lookin' at you?
You're standin' ignorin' me
I thought that I heard someone say now
There's no time for runnin' away now
Hey now, hey now
Feel no shame
'Cause time's no chain
Feel no shame
The first thing I saw as I walked through the door
Was a sign on the wall that read
It said, "You might never know that I want you to know
What's written inside of your head"
And time as it stands won't be held in my hands
Or livin' inside of my skin
And as it fell from the sky, I asked myself why
Can I never let anyone in?
I thought that I heard someone say now
There's no time for runnin' away now
Hey now, hey now
Feel no shame
'Cause time's no chain
Feel no shame
Feel no shame
'Cause time's no chain
Feel no shame
I hitched a ride with my soul by the side of the road
Just as the sky turned black
I took a walk with my fame down memory lane
I never did find my way back
You know that I've gotta say time's slippin' away
And what will it hold for me?
What am I gonna do while I'm lookin' at you?
You're standin' ignorin' me
I thought that I heard someone say now
There's no time for running away now
Hey now
Hey now
Hey now
Hey now
Hey now
Hey now
Hey now
Hey now
Hey now, hey now
Feel no shame
'Cause time's no chain
Feel no shame
'Cause time's no chain
Feel no shame
'Cause time's no chain
Feel no shame
Oasis was and always were a great band along with Blur, Pulp, the Verve, Supergrass and Dodgy and Suede. The 90s was a great decade for music
Best Oasis Song or one of
still underrated, one of my favorite oasis tracks
One of the best songs of the history.
