CONVERSATION WITH THE CREATOR OF UNCLE NEAREST WHISKEY FAWN WEAVER

On September 14th, we hosted a conversation with the creator of Uncle Nearest Whiskey Fawn Weaver.
The spirit was inspired by the first African-American master distiller on record in the United States, Nearest Green. In the five years since Fawn first discovered his story, Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey has become one of the fastest-growing whiskey brands in the world.
In our conversation, we get to sample whiskey as I moderate a live Q&A. Weaver shares about becoming the first Black person to own a significant spirit brand, being a serial entrepreneur for 25 years and her non-profit which offers full scholarships to every descendant of Nearest Green and serves underrepresented communities in the whiskey industry and beyond.
