It's my first year doing December Daily and I am binge watching Ali's and Yours older videos. Love the idea of a looser foundation page, and the sketch for it! Genius! Will be incorporating this into my album for sure. I've done the table of contents so far, next up is reason why, then I want do a few pages for the days I have stuff going on (birthday, yule etc). The rest will be more loose and free.

I am planning on doing foundation pages, I find if I don't I really struggle to get it done. I need to be really organised this year. I have been doing two December Albums one for myself and one for my Granddaughter who turns 7 on the 12th of December. Im not sure how long Im going to keep doing this but she absolutely loves her albums so that makes it worthwhile. Im looking forward to seeing your stories.

I also have only one "adult" (19 and lives at college) child and work full time, but I find that this project is so meaningful especially in this stage of life... it helps me find the "magic" of the holiday season and celebrate the smaller details. Stories don't have to be "big" they can be something as simple as a new favorite mug or a book you are reading. I have a video sharing 50 story ideas that you might find helpful, or you can watch some of my album flip throughs from more recent years for some ideas (my daughter was at college last year too, and even in high school she didn't take over my album because she did a lot of her own thing... especially junior/senior year). I love these, always have, but I'm 50, with adult kids. and work full time... what do you put in every day if you aren't really that busy?
