The Johnny Cash clip showing the Oaks singing "I Know" is a memory I have watching live on TV!! Where can I get that entire clip to enjoy?? Loved it then and still do!
"There had to be a better way to make a living" And he found it. Gospel music - "a much easier way to make a living." I love it when a human finds something that suits them and makes others happy as well. If you don't like manual labor and can make a living as an entertainer in a gospel quartet, go for it! Good for Willie.
Willie is a great one. His voice is surreal at times. His high tenor made the Oak Ridge Boys sound in the 70s. It was their trademark.
Thank you for putting Willie's story together for us.

Singing music that honors God and tells others about Jesus is so much more than just a "way to make a living." It should be a calling, not a job.
You are correct. By all rights it SHOULD be more than just a way to make a living. With that I will certainly agree.
Where did you get all of the clips from in the video?
