Great video and thanks again on the diagram. Can you make a video on how to make a circuit board for your projects. That would be great. Thanks again for your learning video's,

Thanks for the very helpful video showing how to make this full charge indicator! I’m wondering if a bicolor led could be used in place of the two leds, and how to calculate resistors needed to convert circuit for 17.2v to 22v charged Lifepo4 battery bank? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hey, actually loved your content man!!.... But i have a doubt I am using a 2x 3.7v battery in series to make 7.5v apprx..... My maximum voltage will be 8v .... What should be the changes made in this circuit?
It is simple to calibrate, watch in video again, you need a variable power supply for calibration, set voltage at suppose 8v where you want to indicate fully charged, and then adjust trimpot till green led turns on, thats all.
Hi, great video suppppper helpful! i have used this a few times now.. wanted to know what id need to change to make the charging light cut off at 4.9V and the charged light come on immediately from there..? Thanks bud
Nice and helpful circuit. Quick question, how can I calibrate this for charging a 24 volts battery i.e. what changes in resistor values do I need to do?
I'd start with: "What problem am I trying to solve": Battery on one side, that "drops" voltage and acts like a resistor, and a higher voltage DC volt source on the other side. The goal: Light RED when the battery is charging, light GREEN when the charging is done. The battery voltage goes up slightly during the charging, so this is what I detect, and this is the criteria I'm going to use. Now, Here's how I'm going to do it...
Thanks for subscribing, No it will just indicate battery is fully charged, on reaching the voltage where you had calibrated, for cutoff check out other videos on my channel, thanks for watching 🙂

Nice video sir, I want to ask When the power supply go off, how about both led status? It is still on or bott off? If one of them still on, I want to know how if I want them both off, if the power source is off Please guide me Thank you!!
No, actually diode is very important as it acts as barrier between input and battery, also, circuit receives refrence voltage from battery side to indicate on reaching set threshold voltage
Bro, how to make this circuit with out adjustable potentiometer? For 12v battery, 12v input( charger 2.5 Amp) And by way bro, your videos are excellent, I loved the content bro...!
FR307 is fast recovery diode and here you can use general purpose diode like 1N5408, but schottky diode that actually have lowest drop in voltage forward
Remember that a battery's internal resistance is very low. It's worrying to me how there's no current limit, whatsoever. Nothing but a diode between the DC-IN and the battery. Diode clamps voltage, not current. The weakest link in this loop is the diode, obviously: Dropping 0.7v with thousands of mA on it will overheat it
This circuit is designed for 6v, 9v, 12v batteries. For 3.7v replace all 1k resistors with 470 ohms & 4.7k with 1k. Also would like to let you know there is already auto cutoff charging circuit uploaded on my youtube channel, you may check that out.
