After multiplying by 2,it will be only 2x. Not x÷2x in equality.2.

Bhai 2 se multiply karne ke bad x, 2x ho jaega par iske pehle wala term jo x/2 hoga wo x ho jaega

The sum of all numbers except x is two less than x, so (x-2)+x=2046 and x=2048/2=1024
My logic. (2+4)=6=8-2; (2+4+8)=14=16-2; (2+4+8+16)=30=32-2; etc.
If this was using geometric series then I have no clue.
