This guy washed dishes for 13 years waiting for his chance. He also had great blows of fate in his life. He deserved it more than anyone else. He will always stay down to earth no matter how much success or money
I saw it Friday...Art gone be Art...David was made to play him ..I can't think of any other actor who could actually pulled this off..good job Mr Howard.
David you seem like a really down to earth guy & Ive been a HUGE Art the clown fan since All Hallows Eve! It’s funny these interviewers are all telling you how much of a horror icon you actually are because you probably don’t recall, last few years have been a wild ride for you for sure.. but you & Damien Leone were in the comments of a early RUclips review for T2 & you actually commented back to me in response to me telling you the same thing because as a creator & horror visionary, just from there reactions alone, I hadn’t seen the film at that point, I could tell that T2 took Art to the social consciousness he was destined for. I screenshotted your response & have a slight neurotic high everytime I think of it. Back then I vowed to work alongside u on the inevitable T4, & it’s now & here that I ask, I don’t want anything or have any Ill formed misconceptions, I simply want to be apart of T4 because of my love for the franchise, you, Damien, & the horror slashers of the 80’s & 90’s. I don’t need to be paid, filed out or whatever, a cameo or better a sick body count extra would be preferred.. I really want to be apart of this world you all are building it would be an honor. I have 4 beautiful children, my oldest is turning 5 in September, so my life circumstances have laid for me putting being a father first so I haven’t been able to make my bones enough to have credibility enough to stand from my resume, but given the chance in any capacity u may instantly understand my passion & empathize because although circumstances have us in different places, I sense that you would understand. I understand the films have been crowd funded, but I haven’t been fortunate enough financially to contribute, back in the T1 - T2 days. Supporting your film with decals on my old car, word of mouth with my bm, associates, & friends, rent free in my mental.. I got u covered. I can’t stress enough how excited I am for T3 & the future of your character Art, but everything happens for a reason & maybe that’s the reason I feel compelled to write this message to you in earnest for whatever may follow, even if the result is nothing. I can’t wait for 10/11/24. I would be the happiest man on earth if you could convince Mr. Leone to let me join the cast in any capacity. Keep changing the narrative for legends, & terror & NEVER b afraid to let the blood flow!! Luv y’all, stay blessed, & im dead 😵☠️🪦🤡🩸🩸🩸🩸🤡
art is going to be the James Bond of horror and I’m all for it where the actor constantly changes but it’s the same clown I’m hope David brings the same energy he did with 3 it was something special

He definitely a mix of all the horror icons he mentions. I’m glad this character made it so far and has a huge Impact In the horrror genre
