For the weight loss thingy story I feel like he or she is in the wrong. I understand the trying to be healthy parts but making her feel uncomfortable and getting her 2 the point where she's crying without noticing is a little too much. Even if their daughter was slight overweight for a 14 it doesn't mean they should start going on a diet or loose weight.

Plus, with insercurities you should just reassure the other person rather than tell them to suck it up. Its not like they can control how they feel.

Dana, It seams like diet sodas have been discouraged and linked to cancer since the 70's but I've never seen real evidence of it. I drink a lot of Coke Zero. The only downside I've found is diet soda has a lot of sodium. What's your opinion overall about diet soda ? It seems like a good alternative for those of us that don't like to just drink water .

Listen man when I want to lose weight I walk about three miles because you lose more calories and it is easier on your knees and ankles Also try new food in smaller portions I personally love carrots, broccoli, and bell peppers cooked in a pan with stir fry sauce with a side of rice its healthy and taste like heaven work out for 30 minutes to a hour every day Monday through saturday leaving Sunday to rest and plan the next week Also something I do for me personally is each day I work out I drop a m&m or other small candy in a jar and on Sunday I get to eat the candy but if I decide not to work out I have to put back the candy.
