The vampires are something that always existed in 7ds universe, but their "extra" was not adapted to the anime sadly, it was pretty great and its a canon event, it was also the first time escanor introduced to us showing the sins dealing with the vampires in the past, if you'd like you can read that one at some point.

10:30 There was a whole arc about them in the manga. But it was never animated.
Escanor totally fried the vampire king when everybody else struggled.
I would recommend to to read that "Vampires of the Edinburgh"!
Skaa, just wanted to mention a little detail and mistake of the anime, elaine's anime design is not accurate and its pretty weird looking cuz they just made her hair bigger, when her wings finally sprouted with their full size its because she finally matured completely, in the manga its shown to us that not only her hair, but her face and body change to a more "mature" look, her body actually looks like the body of a woman, just a "small" one, in the anime they didnt apply that change to her sadly.
Also you should totally make a Discord group for you and followers, i would love to join if there's one already :)
