This amazing little gospel singer from Louisiana has become the founder/CEO of The Bridge Ministry in Nashville, TN. Candy and her group of volunteers provide a hot meal every Tuesday under the Jefferson Street Bridge @ 6pm. It is awesome what they have accomplished along with support from the Nashville community & prayer. Candy and her husband, Kent are truly anointed.

This is so true, There is peace only in the Lord Jesus Christ and I'm glad I have Him.
My oldest sister that is in Heaven, at age 57, use to sing this song in church. She had a life full of physical and mental pain and hard, hard trials. Yet she knew where her peace came from! Thank be to our God for making a way, through Jesus Christ our Lord, for eternal life free from trials and pain!
My step mom sings this beautiful song for God. I've not seen her in almost 10 yrs ago. Wish she knew that her songs helped me be where I'm at with God. My dad went to heaven and we lost contact with her. Pray for peace for her heart n mind. 🙏
Grew up hearing this song. Now I'm older and my body is falling apart. Recently diagnosed with MS and since my flare that led to my diagnosis it seems like daily I am dealing with some sort of pain. Lying here hurting and just tired. The Holy Spirit brought this song to mind so I had to look it up. It reminds me of 2Corinthians 4:16 through 5:7 and the only real peace that I have dear Lord is in You.Thank You Lord!

This really brightend my day. Thank you. I have to say Jesus has been what has gotten me this far. I still have a long way to go for recovery but I know that with God I will gain the victory. I was trying so hard to remember the name of this song. I couldn't remember but I said to myself I trust that it will come to me some day because God cares... And today the name came to me and was shocked to find this exact lady who sings it so well. Amazing
I have followed the hemphills since about 1974 I love their music I like to sing a lot of their songs around the house and in church it's the most beautiful soothing comforting music we are so blessed have talented singers in this southern gospel side of music, and Candy Hemphill has one of the sweetest voices I've ever heard.

God pointed me back to this song because of the week I’ve had and I’ve had panic attacks all week and lost sleep two nights in a row but He finally made me remember this song yesterday and I’m nearly shouting at 4:30am but I’m laughing and thankful too and I lift my hands in worship to Him and thank Him for His faithfulness and grace and mercy towards me when I’m a brat and I don’t trust Him like I should!
