Lying here hurting and just tired. The Holy Spirit brought this song to mind so I had to look it up. It reminds me of 2Corinthians 4:16 through 5:7 and the only real peace that I have dear Lord is in You.Thank You Lord!

This amazing little gospel singer from Louisiana has become the founder/CEO of The Bridge Ministry in Nashville, TN. Candy and her group of volunteers provide a hot meal every Tuesday under the Jefferson Street Bridge @ 6pm. It is awesome what they have accomplished along with support from the Nashville community & prayer. Candy and her husband, Kent are truly anointed.
My step mom sings this beautiful song for God. I've not seen her in almost 10 yrs ago. Wish she knew that her songs helped me be where I'm at with God. My dad went to heaven and we lost contact with her. Pray for peace for her heart n mind. 🙏
My oldest sister that is in Heaven, at age 57, use to sing this song in church. She had a life full of physical and mental pain and hard, hard trials. Yet she knew where her peace came from! God pointed me back to this song because of the week I’ve had and I’ve had panic attacks all week and lost sleep two nights in a row but He finally made me remember this song yesterday and I’m nearly shouting at 4:30am but I’m laughing and thankful too and I lift my hands in worship to Him and thank Him for His faithfulness and grace and mercy towards me when I’m a brat and I don’t trust Him like I should! PRAISE JESUS!!!
And so even if i preoccupy myself with other things, i wont have peace. Would there be peace if there is injustice? And so the only peace i can have is with JESUS. That maybe if GOD takes me home to Heaven then i wont feel pain anymore. I try to deviate my mind to other things but when night comes and i wake up, i remember my last dream the night before he died. I saw him in his hospital bed begging someone for his life.
I was also done wrong but i cant remember their faces. Its been decades and they are still out there, free. And so its not just my husband justice i am seeking but mine too.
