I think the 3D text drop shape is wrong, it should be the reverse way of the shadow of the text, plus the center text that cuts through 2024 should not appear...you are right it should be a text drop 3D shadow at the beginning, than a 3Dimage perspective of the image of the final product.

A text drop shadow isn't okay for this, that was just me exploring and trying something out and I mentioned that
The shadow used in the original project is actually the best shadow and a more realistic one as far as this design is concern

The perspective shadow of the 2924 is wrong...doesn't look correct it should be flip in reverse...you cannot bring the perspective 2024 and just being flat as a shadow...the sharp pointed 4 should be on the far side not near the edge.
